SUMMARY

The Learning & Development (L&D) Intern works as part of the L&D team and performs individual tasks to lead or support research and analysis on a number of L&D initiatives. Project involvement includes: creating e-learning content, onboarding new employees, becoming familiar with and maintaining the Learning Management System, and creating internal E-Learning content & training material. This position offers an opportunity for a well-rounded participative learning experience within the HR function in a corporate setting.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

The tasks, duties, and responsibilities of the position that are most important to get the job done.

Support various projects within the L&D Department including, working in the Learning Management System; Support team in all training activities, such as logistics preparation, trainee/trainer support, training registration and feedback; Provide administrative support to the program including, communications, scheduling, roster management, materials production, facilities coordination, participant tracking; Create internal E-Learning content, training material and Quick Reference Guides; Assist with orientation for all candidates hired at Denver location; Set-up and take-down of lunch and learns; Assist with flyer creation as needed for various office events; Actively participate in regular departmental meetings; Partner with other Interns; Demonstrate commitment to safety and environmental compliance in all job aspects; Perform routine administrative tasks as needed; Other duties assigned by the Director of Professional Development or the Senior Learning & Development Specialist.

Ability to bring energy and self-motivation to the performance of tasks; Proficient with all Microsoft Office Suite software packages and the aptitude to learn new software such as Articulate; Strong organizational skills; Self-starter with the ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects; Strong work ethic, positive, professional demeanor with the ability to work well with others; Willingness to learn and ask questions; Skill to perform work accurately and thoroughly with devotion to detail; Ability to handle confidential information; Apply knowledge acquired in the classroom to real-world situations; Ability to show consideration for and maintain good working relationships.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

The minimum level of education, experience, and certifications required to perform the job.

Enrollment in college/university majoring in or with an emphasis on a Human Resources related program; Junior or seniors students preferred; Ability to work flexible hours; typically, 40 hours through the summer; possibly 20 hours during the school year; Strong interest in learning and development function.

Responsibilities: * Partner with global business leaders, our people, and HR Partners to identify skills and competencies needed to strengthen our company and prepare it for the future * Utilize subject matter expertise in leadership development to develop a roadmap for growing our future generation of leaders in the company * Develop and drive a global comprehensive learning strategy for Model N * Deliver manager training programs and coaching for managers to build management capability at all levels * Support organizational development strategy in partnership with business and HRBPs * Identify and implement people development solutions, including partnering with Total Rewards COE on the delivery of career development tools to the business * Design & support team performance workshops as required * Address engagement & performance needs with creative L&D solutions * Provide leadership in the area of career development, which includes developing new tools and programming to support our talent strategy * Partner with internal stakeholders to reframe and relaunch our strategic employee induction program, Model N Essentials, which focuses on ensuring that all incoming employees understand our business and our strategic priorities * Develop and share insights to the Executive team on the impact of our L&D programs Requirements: * 12+ years of experience in a L&D role, preferably in a blend of smaller and larger tech companies. * Demonstrated ability to design and deliver quality training programs * Capable and confident communicator with very strong personal presence * Demonstrable ability to collaborate, influence, and persuade * Real passion for people development both professionally and personally * Extensive experience with instructional design, program development and facilitation, organizational design, and organizational advising * Ability to understand strategic organizational issues and influence change * Proven agility in a constantly changing environment and ability to nurture strong relationships * Ability to analyze data, understand trends, and develop recommendations for action based on the analysis * Global experience and mindset with sensitivity to other cultures and learning styles * Strong advising, coaching, and facilitation skills * The highest level of integrity and management of confidential information * Ability and desire to work strategically as well as hands-on * Outstanding team player, willing to jump in wherever needed to meet a need * Strong work ethic and sense of humor is a must! * Ability to travel to the different Model N office locations as needed * BA degree Model N – About Us: Model N (MODN: NYSE) manages over $500B of revenue for the world's most demanding growth companies.
