Learning Analyst, Learning Analysis Department - Branch Learning and Development (BLD)

This role is responsible for coordinating the mapping of the learning ecosystem and learning data that supports branch team development. These data sets provide the foundation for a responsive learning system that supports continuous and tailored learning solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Document and make accessible the formal learning and performance support options that support the performance of branch teams.

  • Create the conditions for consistent curation and scaled use of existing content resources.

  • Maintain the key taxonomies and skill progressions that govern content classification of Branch Learning & Development learning content.

  • Provide regular reports on existing learning and support materials inside and outside the department on requested topics.

  • Gather and analyze various and disconnected data sets that relate to learner adoption and performance

  • Provide strategic recommendations for content gaps and optimization

Position Requirements

  • Master's Degree (or equivalent experience) in adult education, organizational psychology, or HR data analytics preferred

  • 5-10 years in corporate learning, performance consultation, or enterprise HR required

  • Expert knowledge of best practices in adult learning in digital environments

  • Advanced knowledge of advanced learning experience design (ex. Instructional gaming, peer-to-peer, embedded performance support strategies, etc.)

  • Advanced knowledge of the principles of content management and information architecture

  • Advanced knowledge of skill progression models

  • Advanced knowledge of people analytics

  • Proficient knowledge of learning experience platforms and their capabilities

You'll help us identify and source the best instructors, develop learning and performance improvement solutions across traditional and virtual classroom environments, and consult with other areas of the Firm to ensure our curriculums and initiatives support the PwC strategy. As part of our Learning and Development Design and Curriculum team, you'll help lead the design process for all PwC traditional classroom and technology enabled learning solutions. You'll be working with subject matter specialists, programme directors/managers and project teams to strategise effective ways to educate and train our people on industry related materials. Responsibilities As a Manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Proactively assist in the management of a portfolio of clients, while reporting to Senior Managers and above * Be involved in the financial management of clients * Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients * Contribute to the development of your own and team's technical acumen * Develop strategies to solve complex technical challenges * Assist in the management and delivering of large projects * Train, coach, and supervise staff * Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues * Continue to develop internal relationships and your PwC brand Job Requirements and Preferences: Basic Qualifications: Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma Minimum Years of Experience: 4 year(s) Preferred Qualifications: Degree Preferred: Master Degree Preferred Fields of Study: Education, Business Administration/Management Preferred Knowledge/Skills: Demonstrates extensive-level of abilities and a proven record of success in the following: * Leading medium to small scale with multiple stakeholders and work streams while delivering a high quality, impactful learning intervention; * Utilizing adult learning theory and instructional design in both formal and informal learning environments, and the linkage between design and learning evaluation/assessment; * Understanding of regulatory environments/compliance standards and the impact on business; * Engaging any level of stakeholders in communicating the overall impact of a learning intervention to the business alongside the cause and effect of financial and human resources needed for completion of the project; * Collaborating across a learning organization to create the most effective, efficient, and impactful solution; * Creating project plans for all medium to small sizes of projects, driving milestones, meeting deadlines, managing to budget, and re-prioritizing as needed to complete timely delivery of projects; managing projects from inception to completion; * Creating engaging, innovative learning activities and compelling course content that enhances retention and transfer; * Working with subject matter specialists to develop learning requirements for targeted audiences; * Designing for blended live learning solutions (conference and classroom) which include educational technologies such as self-study, mobile learning, virtual classroom solutions, job aides, and learning objects, electronic performance support, etc., and the applicable development processes/timelines and appropriate uses of these technologies; * Supervising teams to create an atmosphere of trust and seeking diverse views to encourage improvement and innovation; * Answering questions and providing direction to less-experienced staff; * Coaching staff including providing timely meaningful written and verbal feedback; * Using design thinking (including persona development, affinity mapping, journey mapping, and prototyping); * Using agile project management techniques (including sprint planning, backlog management and sprint review); * Maintaining knowledge of current and emerging learning technology trends and experience innovating with new learning technology tools; * Analyzing data and communicating data insights to drive decision making (leveraging market leading tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, etc.); and, * Leveraging the Google suite of tools to drive efficiency, productivity, and collaboration.
