Job Description: The Lean Technician will be based in Buffalo Grove, IL. The Lean Technician will be responsible for continuously driving a culture of excellence in the organization, coaching and enabling waste removal activities using lean and six sigma approaches and tools and guiding actions to a sustainable conclusion.

We are looking for someone who demonstrates:

Support lean and six sigma activities as defined in the GBE A3.
Support in designing and building workstations, supermarket racks, benches, trolleys etc.
Ensure good 5S in the work area.
Familiar with and able to use Moonshine tools and machines effectively.
Implement identified best practices timely.
Prepare and upload completed Kaizen projects in the BE on-line Systems.
Maintain and update various indicators on the lean gallery and other defined locations.
Here is some of what you'll need (required)...
Certification of Diploma in a related field or equivalent required.
Minimum of 2 years related experience required.
Experience leading and participating in Kaizen events.
Working knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma activities.
Strong grasp of 5S methodologies.
Experience using Moonshine tools and machines.
