  • Green Belt to join our dynamic and supportive team. Position Summary: The Lean Engineer

  • Green Belt#plays a crucial role in both Project Management and Data Management functions within our Quality Services division. In the realm of Project Management, the Lean Engineer offers organizational process consulting to enhance clinical and operational processes through the implementation of Lean, Six Sigma, project management, and other performance improvement methodologies. This role involves planning, managing, analyzing, and measuring process events to ensure service, clinical, and operational excellence. The Lean Engineer identifies key areas for improvement and establishes actionable strategies. Additionally, the role involves ensuring that process and project teams meet relevant metrics through effective facilitation and collaboration with internal departments to foster continuous improvement aligned with strategic goals. Minimum Requirements: Education: BS in Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field Preferred Education: Master#s in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field Experience: Six Sigma Green#Belt Certification Minimum of 4 years of experience in industrial engineering or business operations using Lean/Six Sigma methodologies Obtain SRHS Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification within 1 year of employment Experience with integrated health delivery system processes Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Expertise in database functionality Extensive report writing experience, preferably with Crystal Reports or similar applications Strong verbal and written communication skills in English Core Job Responsibilities: Assume responsibility for data management and analysis within the Data Management function of Quality Services. Collaborate with the MIDAS+ System Manager and Data Quality Analyst to ensure accuracy, integrity, validity, reliability, and consistency in report preparation. Act as an expert in the MIDAS+ computer system, providing end-user education and support, and performing data abstraction as required for regulatory data reporting. Manage project tasks, including project planning, system design, build and testing, end-user training, pre-live planning, and system live and support transition. Collaborate with the organization to ensure accuracy, integrity, validity, reliability, and consistency in data management. Conduct data mining from various clinical, financial, and operational information systems to provide detailed analysis, benchmarks, and generate reports for end-users. Serve as a resource specialist to support the operational goals of assigned functional areas.
