This position is responsible for the strategic planning as well as the technical set-up, operation and governance of multiple software configuration management (SCM), build and release/deployment tools, hardware (where software repositories reside) and processes. These activities are in support of HNA IT and IT affiliates in the region to support their SCM, build and release/deploy activities. This role manages technical and operational staff and sets technical strategy along with managing a budget, forecasts, and actuals reconciliation. This role also requires administration of performance planning and reviews for associates. This position is a North American Honda Leadership role as the primary service provider for ITIL processes of Release/Deploy Management support going forward. This entails these services, software solutions and practices to implement and support a shared service across the North American region.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain high performing teams

  • Achieve the goals for your area of responsibility

  • Support Managers and partner with peers to ensure the company and divisional goals are successfully achievedBA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, related field or equivalent work experience

  • 10 years of IT business work experience

  • 10 years of experience with supporting processes in the area of release management, and/or deployment management

  • 5 years of experience as an ITIL technical practitioner and/or leader

  • ITIL certification

  • In-depth technical knowledge of industry Software Configuration Management (SCM), Software Build, and Release/Deploy tools; ServiceNow, Serena Business Manager, IBM UrbanCode, IDM ClearCase, Subversion, Jenkins, Endevor, ChangeMan ZMF

  • Ability to act as technical expert addressing problems relating to SCM, Build and Release/Deploy systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platform integration

  • Technical knowledge of SCM, Build and Release/Deploy technologies available in the industry

  • Technical aptitude of multi-tier and cross-platform architectures across enterprise

  • Advanced understanding in the information technology landscape- stretching from infrastructure, network, client, server, merging technology and trends

  • Advanced understanding and working knowledge of software engineering software development, solution architecture and implementation of medium to large scale systems across multiple platforms

As a Project Lead for the DMAIC Producibility program, you will interface with both internal and external Customers to identify opportunities, and coordinate across a variety of functions through to implementation of the solution. You will be required to ensure communication between the broader engineering organization, Program Management, and leadership from AME, PSE, and GBE's. You will have technical, cost, schedule and risk management responsibility for the projects that you are assigned. You will provide project leadership to a team of cross-functional resources in support your set of projects and have budget responsibility affecting approximately 150 parts. Accountable for developing plans to achieve specified remediation and save goals, as defined by the Program Manager Lead cross-functional teams through triage assessments to define and quantify disruption, and then develop solutions that satisfy both internal and external customers Responsible for overall execution, coordinating the activities of support organizations to ensure that Design, Supplier, and Manufacturing improvements are operationalized.
