Description:Space is not a place to go, it's a place to do and at Lockheed Martin Space, we do difficult. In other words, we design stuff and send it into space whether it's to Mars, taking samples of asteroids or building software defined satellites. We also like thinking beyond today and we want you to feel the same.

Lockheed Martin Space is also embarking on an increased investment and focus on leadership development. We are looking for a team member to join the leadership development team to be a project manager of training programs, coordinate assessments and help pull together metrics on programs to ensure they are successful. This person will also be asked to facilitate select programs and administer assessments.

Here are the core focus areas you will lead or be involved in:

  • Provides development, coaching and training for individual contributor and managers on leadership skills.

  • Project manage leadership assessments (360s, Hogan, Strengthsfinder, etc.)

  • Project manage leadership development programs including needs analysis, planning, design, delivery, evaluation and sustainment.

  • Design programs that are aligned with industry best practices and research in the areas of adult learning theory, high potential development, assessment, and coaching.

  • May oversee vendors to develop and/or administer training programs and assessments.

  • Coordinate and align project plans, communication, and related efforts for Space and Corporate initiatives.

  • Performs other related duties and assignments as required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, SharePoint, Project, etc.)

  • Project management experience with good attention to detail, organizational skills, and experience managing multiple projects

Desired Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant psychology or business major such as business administration, human resource management, organization development, organizational behavior, or industrial-organizational psychology.

  • Knowledge and demonstrated application of adult learning principles and/or key content areas such as emotional intelligence, strategic thinking, and leadership effectiveness.

  • Experience facilitating and teaching

  • Knowledge of 360 feedback, HBDI, Hogan or Strengthsfinder assessments

  • Passionate about learning and development
