We are currently seeking a Operations Front Line Supervisosr for our Latrobe, PA, melt shop.

This positions is responsible for leading a diverse, represented hourly workforce in day-to-day problem solving and troubleshooting efforts, as well as, interacting with all levels of management on a wide range of business issues.

Requirements

  • Ability to effectively lead a diverse and represented hourly workforce

  • An Associates Degree in a technical field is highly preferred

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Exceptional organization skills

  • Proficiency with computer systems and Microsoft Office.

  • Ability to work shifts, including weekends, as required.

  • Significant experience in the EAF and AOD processespreferred.

  • Candidates should have a strong work ethic and the ability to work in a highly motivated team environment.

Manufacturing Supervisor - Melting Latrobe, PA PRIMARY DUTIES * Provide production employees with guidance, direction and supervision in support of department operations. Promptly address performance issues. * Actively promote all company policies and expectations, especially in support of safety plans and results. Maintain a positive work environment by regularly communicating with employees on the shop floor and responding to employee issues and concerns in a timely manner. * Plan and schedule operations within assigned area of responsibility. * Maintain well-organized and productive work areas.
