Bell is seeking a Supervisor Materials Planning and Control to supportour operations at the Bell Drive Systems Center inGrand Prairie, Texas
Supervise Dispatching personnel by assessing build plans,delegating work assignments and monitoring the quality and quantity of dailywork performed.
Provide direction, counseling, training, and instructions asrequired to achieve departmental and program goals.
Coordinate problems related to material tooling, planning,scheduling, and engineering to ensure completion of detail parts and assembliesin accordance with the FP Daily Build Plan Schedule.
Work with Resource Analysts and Operations Planning and Control toidentify constraints to ensure positive throughput.
Monitor detail shortages/maintain Shop Floor Control data requiredto identify potential critical items in order to effectively manage themovement of parts and material.
Ensure the safety of all assigned personnel and monitor employees'compliance to safety.
Oversee kitting areas and ensure kits are ordered, inventoried,secured, and delivered to the shop floor complete and on time to meet theproduction schedule.
Attend meetings as required and work all issues that may impactschedule.
Focus on building long lasting customer relationships.
Support the efforts of cost reduction through work in process andinventory control.
Provide and support on schedule delivery to all customers,internal and external.

Four-year degree in Operations/Business Management, or related discipline or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 3 years Manufacturing/Engineering/Warehousing/Dispatching experience.
Lean and/or Six Sigma certifications
Experience with BSM systems
