A Lead Wiring Design Engineer job with Remote Support is currently available at Belcan. This is a contract position. To be considered for this role, you will need a Bachelor of Science degree in the Electrical engineering field and five plus years of experience as an engineer within the aerospace industry. As a Lead Engineer, you will be supporting a group of engineering students/co-ops to create wiring diagrams and electrical system architecture.

Lead Wiring Design Engineer Job duties:

  • Leads and coordinates work to assist in design of system architecture, electrical wiring system design, and interface specifications compliant with standards for aerospace vehicle wiring.

  • Development of wiring diagrams and schematics to support systems integration efforts.

  • Accurately perform wire length and electrical impedance calculations to support technical documentation.

  • Provide technical guidance and assistance to students and interns performing the same activities.

  • Manage/mentor/teach team of 2-4 students on all assigned tasks and requirements.

  • Assist with the release process for wiring diagrams and schematics.

  • Ability to check medium complexity wiring diagrams and schematics following Customer standards.

  • Must be able to hit OTD (On Time Delivery) and FTQ (First Time Quality) targets set by Customer.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.

  • Previous experience with Wire Diagrams and Wire Bundle

  • Previous experience with (WIRS) Software

  • Previous experience with (Mentor Graphics) Software

  • Previous experience with (Capital Harness XC) Software

  • Previous experience with (CADDS 5) Software

  • Previous experience with (DOORS) Software

  • Minimum of five plus years of experience as an Electrical Engineer within the Aerospace Industry.

  • Strong communication skills, especially with the support and mentorship of student/co-op engineers

  • Strong mentoring and teaching skills. The candidate must be able to work closely with engineering students/co-ops to complete engineering tasks and requirements.

  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Vizio etc.

  • Legal authorization to work in the US is required

PillPack is seeking an industry proven and detail-oriented Sr. Pharmacy Design Engineer to help design and build highly automated pharmacy fulfillment centers, utilizing automated dispensing, quality control, and material handling systems. In this role, you will use a strong engineering background to collaborate with Operations Managers, Software Product Engineers, and pharmacy automation vendors to understand system requirements and design fulfillment solutions. Successful candidates are natural self-starters who have prior engineering experience in the integrated automation project life cycle, including development, design, implementation, enhancement, and support. Our Pharmacy Design Engineers must be agile with the ability to quickly adapt strategies, plans, and solutions in response to dynamic business requirements. They also must be comfortable interfacing and driving various functional teams and individuals at all levels of the organization. RESPONSIBILITIES * Design, build, improve, and innovate on pharmacy fulfillment centers throughout the network. * Manage, design, and implement integrated automation projects with system elements such as automated dispensing, high speed sortation, multiple conveyors, package lines and/or robotic work cells. * Manage on-site vendors through their leads and escalate issues through vendor and Amazon leadership. * Identify, explore, evaluate, justify and realize solutions that add value by improving output quality, throughput rates, capacity, system utilization, and the reduction of waste. * Monitor and enforce project schedules and quality with vendors or subcontractors. * Lead and coordinate design and execution efforts between internal teams and outside vendors including equipment specifications, material flow, process design, and site layout. * Develop and manage budget and contract documents including RFPs, change order controls, purchase orders, and invoicing. * Build strong working relationships with FC leadership and their operations teams across multiple sites as well as their Launch, Facilities, Finance, Safety, and Process Engineers business stakeholders. * Develop a deep understanding of FC operations including the day to day workings and strategic network planning. * Develop cross-functional knowledge of pharmacy operations systems, processes, procedures, and tools.
