As a Lead, you're responsible for supporting our management team by performing functional tasks as assigned. You will act as a mentor and role model to Experts & Brand Associates to support service behaviors and the execution of tasks in specific areas of expertise. You will focus on leading process(es) and/or areas of the business, executing tasks and maintaining productivity to ensure goals are met. Through collaboration with your leadership team, you'll teach and coach your team and drive behaviors to deliver a best-in-class experience to our customers.

  • Consistently treat all customers and employees with respect and contribute to a positive work environment.

  • Promote customer loyalty by educating customers about our loyalty programs.

  • Serve as a role model to achieve priorities in store with the customer as the primary focus.

  • Seek out and engage with customers to drive sales and service using suggestive selling.

  • Enhance customer experience by using all omni channel offerings.

  • Take action based upon direction from the Service Leader and collaborate effectively with employees.

  • Support Service Leader duties during non-peak hours.

  • Build and share expertise in an assigned specialized functional area.

  • Support completion or work processes before or after the store closes as needed inclusive of opening and/or closing the store as needed.

  • Be accountable to personal goals which contribute to overall store goals and results.

  • A current or previous retail employee with 6 or more months of experience.

  • A good communicator with the ability to effectively interact with customers and your team to meet goals.

  • A customer-focused service provider both on and off the sales floor to help deliver an exceptional experience for our customers.

  • Able to demonstrate interest and initiative to develop skills and improve capabilities.

  • Passionate about retail and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • Determined to effectively lead and inspire others to learn and grow through coaching and mentoring.

  • Agreeable to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including holiday, evening, overnight and weekend shifts.

  • Able to utilize retail technology.

  • Able to maneuver around the sales floor, stockroom and office and can lift up to 30 pounds.

Lead finance person for the West US Service Zone, serving as a business partner to the operating team to drive business initiatives, growth, business strategy, and profitability. Reports to the CFO, US & Canada Service with a dotted line to the Zone Service General Manager, West. Essential Responsibilities:• Act as a strategic business partner to West GM and their team to set mission, vision, and goals for the organization, and help define priorities. * Analyze revenue and margin and translate findings to profitable growth strategy through actions each operational leader can execute daily. * Collaborate with commercial, field service, and operations to drive profitable growth, launch variable cost productivity actions, and identify & track key metrics while advising the leadership team on risks, opportunities, and actions. * Develop estimates and annual operating plans in partnership with the Zone Commercial and Operational leaders. * Lead effort across the zone to drive past due improvements and resolve significant collections issues with customers. * Contribute to improving efficiencies and performance as well as providing quality financial information. * Develop and improve financial processes: Finance reporting tools, Management reporting tools, budgeting and estimating processes. * Assist with management reporting (regional and segment P&L's) and communicate results to managers. * Drive consistent usage of Business Intelligence (B.I.) tools across GE Healthcare USCAN. Develop new reports for process improvements. * Responsible for quarterly closing ensuring accuracy of reported results, operational accountability and business controllership. * Drive consistency in work across the Regional Operations Managers (dotted line support) in order to ensure execution of estimates, planning and key operational improvement programs. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration and minimum of seven years of financial planning & analysis work experience or High School Diploma/GED and minimum of 15 years financial planning & analysis work experience including developing forecasts & operating plans and leading business / finance reviews Desired Characteristics:1. Strong analytic skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change 2. Clear thinking / problem solving: successfully led cross-functional projects/process improvement within operations/finance function involving process improvement; able to quickly grasp new ideas 3. Excellent communication skills: experience working across multiple levels (including executive level), functions and regions; able to clearly communicate complex financial information in a easy to understand manner; able to deliver message effectively verbally and in writing 4. Solid PC skills: experience with financial systems/applications (i.e.: Oracle, SAP, COGNOS, Business Objects, etc.), strong Excel skills in data compilation and aggregation (i.e. pivot tables, VLookup, and Macros) 5. Fluency in English 6. Confidence / Assertiveness: strong influencing skills across business functions; confidence to approach business leaders with difficult messages and defend position; for example, work closely with business leaders to achieve business objectives while driving controllership/GE Values 7. Experience working in global business environment with sound understanding of global process and transactional flows 8. Experience successfully leading cross-functional projects and process improvement within the operations/finance functions; able to quickly grasp new ideas. 9. Experience in a matrixed environment 10.
