Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled web app developer experienced in building a two-sided marketplace/booking platform. We are an early stage self-funded startup in the process of building a team of talented individuals. Were seeking an ambitious web app developer who believes in our mission, and is excited to join an early stage start-up like Qooley for equity.

We are currently exploring different technology stacks to determine the best fit to execute our MVP. We will provide you with our InVision design prototypes as well as detailed business requirements as part of the on-boarding process. Below is a list of our basic business requirements.

  • Sign-up / Social Media Login / Create Profile
  • Date Picker / Destination / Location (Google Maps API)
  • Browse / display local activities or experiences
  • Display activity details
  • Booking flow (ability to pick available time slots and book)
  • Stripe integration
  • Notifications or booking tracking / booking history
  • Ability to write reviews
  • Add booking to google calendar
  • Sign-up / Social Media Login / Create Profile or Provider Dashboard
  • Activity creation module / ability to host and manage virtual experiences
    • Add activity photos, description, notes, upload documents, price etc.
    • Add location of activity (Google Maps API)
    • Calendar functionality/Add Schedule
    • Zoom or similar video hosting integrations to host multiple virtual sessions by multiple providers at a time.

Within the Office of Web Design and Development, the Mobile App Developer serves as primary user advocate and evangelist for Roosevelt's mobile app. The Mobile App Developer serves as liaison to the student body, gathers user feedback, and collaborates with the rest of Web Design and Development to identify opportunities for improving the app and establish a roadmap to do so.
