Job Summary: Lead Sonographer - Diagnostic Location:

Burlington, VT Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Lead Sonographer to join our diagnostic imaging team in Burlington, VT. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality ultrasound services while supervising and mentoring staff sonographers to ensure optimal patient care and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities: Perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic, and vascular studies. Lead and support a team of sonographers, ensuring compliance with departmental protocols and quality standards.

Train and mentor staff on best practices, new technologies, and techniques in sonography. Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to discuss findings and contribute to patient management. Maintain accurate documentation and reports of ultrasound procedures and findings.

Ensure that all equipment is maintained and calibrated according to safety and quality control standards. Assist in the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures. Minimum Qualifications:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field. Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent. At least 5 years of experience in diagnostic ultrasound, with supervisory experience preferred.

Strong leadership and communication skills. Commitment to providing exceptional patient care. Preferred Qualifications:
