Lead Tool Room Attendant
We are currently looking for an experienced Lead Tool Room Attendant who will primarily lead all tool room teams and activities. This role is part of the operations department and some of the diverse responsibilities incl. supporting the operations department and its processes by maintaining and handling tools and materials needed for medical equipment installations jobs. The following is a snapshot of some of the dynamic areas the Lead Tool Room Attendant will participate in:
Maintain tool room and issue tools and materials based on project needs.
Visual inspection, sorting, cleaning and maintaining tools and equipment needed for installations projects.
Equipment and spare parts handling and inventory, incl. inspections and light repair.
Assure that the proper tools and materials kits are assembled per project requirement.
Assure proper calibration processes where needed.
Maintain an orderly and save work area by following 5S practices.
Develop and implement process and quality assurance procedures.
Supervise and motivate other teams to achieve departmental excellence.
Prior relevant work experience incl. basic tool repair and maintenance experience, Ability to read and comprehend work instructions and complex technical manuals in English. Working knowledge of GigaTrack or other tool management software, strong computer skills, the ability to work intermittent periods during which physical exertion is required
