Programs of service include an 87-bed, Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services licensed, Joint Commission accredited psychiatric residential treatment facility, a Partial Hospitalization Program, and a 40-bed acute psychiatric hospital. Our clinical department is currently welcoming a full-time Therapist to assist both our residential and acute teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provides psychotherapy services for patients to include individual, family and group therapy scheduling and facilitation of treatment team reviews and documentation.

• Attends all treatment teams for assigned patients.

• Provides direction and guidance to Therapist assigned to Acute.

• Coordinates multifamily/group/family education group.

• Staff training

• On call/weekend coverage for clinical services.

• Completes all program notes before the end of the business day.

• Completes psychosocial assessment within prescribed limits.

• Monthly treatment team reports are prepared per policy. (RTC)

• Responds to crisis situations and manages patient behaviors in accordance with the Behavioral Management Program.

• Assists with the milieu to guide the development of acceptable habits and attitudes by consistently and fairly implementing the behavioral program, emphasizing good choices, and positive interactions.

Compensation package:Competitive salary. Qualifications

A minimum of a Master's Degree in human services field (i.e. psychology, social work, counseling, education). Prefered: Licensed in the state of Virginia (LPC, LCSW, LMFT or a Licensed Psychologist). Preference given to candidates with CSOTP and/or CSAC. Some experience with children/adolescents. Must be at least 21 years of age. Subject to pre-employment drug screen and criminal background investigation.
