What's The Role?

As a Technology Strategist-Project Analyst, you will work with the Production Services leadership team that is responsible for the full lifecycle of support across both the Application and Infrastructure teams. You'll assist in initiatives that provide strategic direction where technology supports significant portions of business unit activities.

You will support the planning, analysis, delivery, and integration of systems and business development projects. Project may involve:

  • Incident, Problem and Change Management Release Management, Asset and Configuration Management Knowledge Management, Permit to Operate, Run Books Capacity, Availability, Performance, Continuity Management Third Party Production Governance SLA Management and Reporting Risk and Control Management including Production Privileged Access SLA Management and Reporting Infrastructure DBA, Messaging, Network functions Platform Engineering

We'll Trust You To:

  • Provide research and analytical support in the planning, analysis, delivery, and integration of systems and business development projects Support one or more strategic initiatives to understand, analyze, develop and recommend strategy and planning solutions Ensure organizational initiatives and projects are successfully communicated to all stakeholders Apply organizational acumen to identify and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization Keep stakeholders informed of initiatives, progress, and status Identify, assess, and solve complex business problems for area of responsibility. Work with more senior team members to develop and deliver presentations Apply comprehensive understanding of how multiple areas collectively integrate to contribute towards achieving project objectives Apply knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis and the ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems while creating alternative solutions that resolve the problems in the best interest of the business.

    Apply knowledge of business process design techniques that encourage a critical, fresh look at key processes with a focus on optimizing organizational performance (and ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations) Drive process changes/reviews and create documentation as needed to support these process changes.

    Build and maintain a good understanding of overall business direction, mechanisms, strategy, technologies, market dynamics, and trends

Lead Technology Strategist->> Provides research and analytical support in the planning, analysis, delivery and integration of systems and business development projects. Participates in the identification, development and implementation of strategy and key growth objectives through analysis and research.

Identifies, assesses and solves complex business problems for area of responsibility. Applies comprehensive understanding of how multiple areas collectively integrate to contribute towards achieving project objectives. Drives process changes and reviews and/or creates documentation as needed to support these process changes.

Builds and maintains a good understanding of overall business directions, mechanisms, and strategy as well as technologies, market dynamics and trends. Contributes to the achievement of related teams' objectives. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience is required.

  • Four to six (4-6) years of related experience is required.

  • Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus

Preferred:

  • Ability to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1-2 years) and strategic (3-5 years) planning in support of the overall business plan.

*An excellent grasp of technology, and technical subject matter *Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills and the confidence to interact with senior leaders *Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Office, Visio, PowerPoint) *Proficiency in collaboration tools (e.g., Confluence, JIRA, SharePoint) *Experience with Tableau a plus
