Required Skills and Experience:

  • A love for children and a strong desire to make a difference every day.

  • Ability to build relationships with families and coworkers and create a dynamic environment where play and learning happens.

  • Outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and manage multiple situations effectively

  • Must possess active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements

  • Approved state trainer (preferred)

  • 2-3 years Early Childhood Education Experience(preferred)

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred)

  • CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain

  • Must meet state specific guidelines for the role

  • Must be physically able to use a computer with basic proficiency, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors. Must be able to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children.

  • Ability to speak, read, and write English.

VIEW JOBS 10/12/2019 12:00:00 AM 2020-01-10T00:00 Requisition ID: 223031 Bechtel is designing, constructing, and commissioning the world's largest radioactive-waste treatment plant for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) in southeastern Washington state. The project will use vitrification technology to process and stabilize 56 million gallons (212 million liters) of radioactive and chemical waste stored at the Hanford Site which is a byproduct of plutonium-production during World War II and the Cold War era. The cleanup project is one of DOE's most technically challenging and the largest undertaking of its kind equivalent to building two nuclear power plants. The construction site spans 65 acres (26 hectares) and includes facilities for pretreatment, low-activity waste vitrification, and high-level waste vitrification, as well as an analytical laboratory. Positions located at the Construction Site (22 miles north of Richland) work a 4 x 10 schedule, M-Th, 6:30 a.m.to 5 p.m. All other work locations (Richland WA, San Francisco CA and Reston VA work a 9-80's schedule, M-F 7:00 am to 4:30 pm with alternating Fridays off. Role Overview The WTP IS&T Network Infrastructure Lead supervises, directs, and trains team members on Information Technology (IT) processes and tools in the area of network communications and security to support a large-scale project of significant complexity. Additional responsibilities: Develops, directs, and supports implementation of project IT infrastructure systems and services in coordination with project and NS&E requirements. Develops, directs, and supports implementation of project safety and quality goals within area of responsibility. Identifies and implements technical innovations that add value and improve project work processes. Performs work and makes informed decisions that require the application of a significant range of fundamental principles in a wide and often unpredictable variety of contexts, either in a technical lead or advisory capacity to the WTP IT Operations Manager, the WTP CIO, or other departments as directed. Job Responsibilities * Supervision Received - Receives direction from the Project CIO, the IS&T Operations Manager, and the Project SISM. Performs assignments independently with instructions as to the general results expected. Receives management approval on proposed plans for projects. * Supervision Exercised - Provides technical direction and assigns work to Network Infrastructure and Security Operations subordinates or others who assist in Project IT activities. Assists IT Operations Manager with employee reviews. Serves as the design authority over Network and Security Infrastructure Operations for the WTP Metropolitan Area Network and works closely with the corporate wide area network engineer supporting the WTP. * Contacts - Interfaces regularly with other personnel in IS&T, other Bechtel functions and/or projects, and selected internal customers. Interfaces with vendors regarding hardware, software, and communications solutions. Interfaces with client representatives and sub-contract partners regarding areas of responsibility as required. Essential duties description * Leads team members to provide comprehensive technical support and training coordination to implement the Project IT Plan on a large project of significant complexity; facilitates career development and personnel management of assigned employees. * Assists the CIO and the IS&T Operations Manager in developing, executing, and maintaining the Project IT Plan. * Coordinates automation implementations in project offices and jobsites in accordance with DOE, Project, and local standards and regulations. * Develops, executes, and coordinates project automation requirements while monitoring IT industry innovations to add value to work processes; disseminates best practices. * Communicates standard IS&T services to the project for hardware, software, and communications. * Review, process and implements infrastructure service and security requests from all requestors, according to project policies and procedures. * Provides budget planning and reporting and cost estimating to the WTP IT Operations Manager and WTP CIO. * Implements applicable portions of WTP and Bechtel's safety program to Project IT systems. * Determines risks and costs to formulate technical strategies. * Resolves customer service issues and problems within realistic project timescales. * Monitors work status and costs against milestones. Basic Qualifications Must be able to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical (if located at the construction site), and background check which includes verification of employment and education. Candidate must possess the right to work and remain in the US without sponsorship. * Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related field (e.g. MIS) with 9 years of related experience, in lieu of degree 15 years of related experience. Preferred Qualifications * Comprehensive knowledge of hardware and operating systems including system architectures, network infrastructures, client server principles, backup, recovery, and storage policies and procedures, and planning and implementing disaster prevention and recovery. * Comprehensive knowledge of telecommunications systems protocols and support. [Nortel, ROLM and Cisco VOiP] * Comprehensive knowledge of Internet systems, protocols, and support. * Comprehensive knowledge of IT security systems, protocols, and support. * Comprehensive knowledge of Cisco HW and SW solutions, switching, routing, WiFi, and security. * Comprehensive knowledge of 802.11 wireless network systems, protocols, and support. * Understanding of business case analysis and reporting and evaluating buy vs. build. * Ability to articulate ideas and write clear and concise reports. * Ability to identify, track, escalate and resolve problems using comprehensive techniques and methods of troubleshooting problems. * Demonstrated skill in supervising, developing, and coaching employees. * Excellent ability to translate technical terms to layperson's terms and present them to audiences outside of IS&T. * Skill in working closely with customers and suppliers to define expectations and mutual responsibilities.
