Lead, Talent Business Analyst

The Lead Business Analyst is responsible for providing support to the Business Advisors in the delivery of strategic services to the Business while also supporting the Talent organization during peak times to deliver key services. This individual will help the Business Advisor translate business strategies into actionable Talent strategies. Furthermore, the Business Analyst will help to foster change throughout the organization and ensure that Talent strategies are aligned with the firm's culture.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Follow the direction of the Business Advisor including managing the analysis and evaluation of programs and processes and helping to identify key Talent issues / trends facing the business and formulating actionable results

  • Partner with the Business Advisor to develop and deploy Talent programs to ensure that Talent resources and services are aligned with the business strategy

  • Collaborate with the COEs and Core Talent Services to develop solutions that seamlessly address key business issues

  • Consult with business leaders, Business Advisors, and other Business Analysts on how Talent can help drive business performance

  • Conduct data analysis and manipulation using appropriate tools to help provide creative solutions on business issues; leverage analytics to break down internal and external factors influencing the business

  • Analyzes data and fundamental information about the business to challenge conventional thinking on a business issue. Provides high level expertise and analytics.

  • Assists with the analysis and evaluation of programs and processes as directed by the Business Advisors (in areas such as inclusion, compensation, etc.)

  • Supports the Business Advisor to identify key Talent issues or trends facing the business and help formulate actions to address the issues

  • Partners with the Business Advisor to understand business drivers and the organization to identify performance issues and analyze their impact on business results.

  • Assists with the alignment of compensation/rewards to business strategy/industry.

  • Assists the various COEs on aligning their strategies, programs and policies with the Business demand and requirements to ensure effective service delivery across the Talent channels (e.g. Deployment, Total Rewards, Acquisition, Development).

  • Assists the Business Advisor to develop communications regarding Talent strategies, programs and services.

  • Provides advisory support to the Business Advisor during peak times (i.e. performance management cycles, compensation review).

  • Generally shared responsibility for a service line/ service area.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of Human Resources leadership experience and/ or directly related experience

  • Undergraduate degree required (4 year)

  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint)

This role will be responsible for leading the Talent Model Innovation work within GPS and will serve as the GPS representative where Talent Model support is needed. Work you'll do Talent Business Advisors work closely with key business leaders to provide Talent consultative solutions tailored to support the execution of strategic priorities for GPS Consulting and Advisory: * In collaboration with Business, Talent (TBA, RM, Acquisition, and Development), Centers of Excellence (COEs), and Core Talent Services (CTS), design, drive, and implement creation of framework that outlines the appropriate deployment of Talent Models on projects based on the several impact factors such as client requirements, project financials, talent availability, external factors, etc. * Integrate understanding of the Green Dot initiatives and Consulting Workforce of the Future and GPS Forward goals, in collaboration with Business and Talent to drive creation of framework for creating new Talent Models. * Collaborate with Business, Performance Management, and TBA teams to define the appropriate evaluation strategies, metrics targets, titles, career path options for Talent Models. * Collaborate with Business, Talent, and COE channels to define Job Families and appropriate compensation levels and benefits (including External benchmarking). * Act as a central POC for the Talent Model-related inquiries in these groups. * Act as a liaison with National Talent on any changes, updates, and strategic planning related to Talent Models. * Partner with the Business and Talent leadership to drive the creation and integration of new Talent Models as needed. * Represent GPS practice at Global HRIS Program planning and working group sessions. * Responsible for key program milestones on GPS's behalf and is responsible for project managing, tracking key milestones and update relevant stakeholders. * Communicate relevant take-aways/actions to Talent and Business leadership teams. * Combine the learning and insight from the global project with the GPS-specific knowledge to advise Leadership and identify gaps and elevate for issue resolutions / suggest workaround solutions. * Establish connectivity with other internal stakeholders to make informed decisions. * Leverage internal and external network on best practices. * Serve as a connection with Commercial Advisory and Commercial Consulting on Consulting Forward initiatives.
