Lead Systems Operations Engineer

In this role, you will:

• Lead complex, broad impact initiatives including provision of high level systems consultation for the technology teams

• Work as key participant in large scale planning of computer systems and network infrastructure for Systems Operations functional area

• Review and analyze complex technical challenges, as well as escalated support issues related to core business solutions that require in depth evaluation of multiple factors, such as alternatives, enhancements, periodic systems reviews, or improvements to existing systems

• Make decisions on technical changes and enhancements

• Consult with engineering team on change design requiring solid understanding of technical process controls or standards that influence and drive new initiatives

• Collaborate and consult with technical peers, colleagues, and mid to more experienced level managers to resolve systems support issues and achieve goals

• Act as a Lead for Incident, Change, and Problem Management

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Systems Engineering, Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

• Relevant experience in platform installation and configuration setup

• Software installation and configuration in Linux and Windows environment

• Solid knowledge and understanding of monitoring tools like ELK, Splunk, app

Dynamics

• Deployment and configuration of Middleware products and software like Elastic search, Kibana, Nginx & Java in Linux

• DB configuration and managing connection in Linux and Windows environment

• Experience in Weblogic, Tomcat, and Apache

• Platform/Application production support experience

• Experience with financial based applications

• Experience in .Net / Windows framework

• Experience in automation (Python, Shell, Powershell etc.)

• Hands on experience and understanding of technology development: Cloud, high-availability and high volume transaction processing systems

• Hands on experience on Cloud technologies (PCF / GCP / Azure)

• Experience in ANSIBLE Tower and developing/creating ANSIBLE Playbooks

• Worked on Agile framework and having strong Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) mindset

• Database/SQL knowledge

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
