Honeywell Quantum Solutions has an immediate opening for a Lead Systems Engineer. The candidate would join a team of software/electrical/systems engineers and scientists responsible for developing complex atomic systems.
The Lead Systems Engineer is responsible for system requirements, definition and architecture
Understand, analyze, and manage complex requirements, then translate them into innovative prototypes based on creative design
Support system design & execution with a multi-disciplined engineering team and scientific team through development and integration of the product or system
Oversee the development and installation of new hardware and software
The location site for this position is Broomfield, CO or Golden Valley MN.

YOU MUST HAVE:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering
Due to US export control laws, must be a US citizen
Demonstrated strong analytical skills
Knowledgeable of complex systems, strong engineering skills, worst case design analysis
Knowledge of Root Cause Analysis techniques
Demonstrated leadership skills
Administrator experience with requirements management via DOORs or similar program
Experience with Risk/Opportunity Management techniques
Ability to multi-task in a rapid paced environment
15 years as a professional system engineer with extensive software and hardware development experience
Experience with requirements management via DOORs
Ability to make decisions, effectively lead tasks and meet challenging deadlines.
Ability to build strong relationships and effectively partner with others.
Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written
