Lead Systems Engineer

TITLE: Lead Systems Engineer

JOB DUTIES: Be responsible for administering and supporting Container Platform ecosystems for the organization in both AWS public cloud and on premise. This includes managing container tenant provisioning, isolation, and capacity. This role will work directly with infrastructure as code-based automation to manage the capacity of the overall platform and deliver new capacity and capabilities as necessary.

The Lead Engineer will be acting as a hands-on technical lead for the team's initiatives, and be expected to contribute to architectural designs, perform code reviews and actively develop software as needed. This role supports key project driven initiatives, as well as operational tasks to maintain the integrity of DTCC infrastructure footprint. Responsibilities include:

• Contribute and support the corporate Enterprise Container Strategy utilizing Red Hat OpenShift (OCP).

• Manage the OpenShift container platform ecosystem (installation, upgrade, patching, monitoring).

• Kubernetes and OpenShift Cluster capacity management and provisioning through automation .

• Identify ideas to improve system performance and impact availability.

• Aligns risk and control processes into day-to-day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk appropriately.

• Developing automation solutions and capabilities for infrastructure services to increase operational efficiencies.

• Design automation workflow for complex manual processes.

JOB REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and 5 years of experience in the job or related position or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and 2 years of experience in the job or related position. Prior experience to include:

• RedHat OpenShift Container Platform.

• Kubernetes.

• Docker or similar container technologies.

• Configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Terraform, and Chef).

• Basic knowledge about Machine learning techniques and models (Decision Tree, Time Series analysis).

Telecommuting may be permitted a few days a week. When not telecommuting, must report to DTCC's office in Coppell, TX.

SALARY: $148,000.00 per year.
