Summary

The Clinical Imaging Systems Support Team services a wide range of clinical imaging departments, applications and workflows.

The Lead Systems Analyst position provides leadership and oversight for the Application Support, Enhancements, Design, Build and Implementation for assigned IT Applications. The position working in conjunction with and/or on behalf of the department manager oversees staff activities, performs the functions of a Sr. Systems Analyst, provides input to annual performance appraisals, and provides input into hiring or disciplinary action. The Lead Systems Analyst will exercise discretion with independent thought and judgment and demonstrate the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Information systems or Healthcare related field. Relevant experience in excess of seven (7) years and/or appropriate certifications may be substituted
Seven (7) years of experience with supervising/supporting complex enterprise business/clinical systems and 5-7 years in an application analyst role
Knowledge of hospital and clinic culture, regulatory requirements (e.g., JCAHO), and health care requirements as it relates to information security and privacy (e.g., HIPAA)

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

Thorough knowledge of the impact of process analysis and design methodologies on the legal, regulatory, ethical, managerial and organizational, principles and standards for radiology and imaging departments in outpatient and acute general hospitals and health systems strongly
Knowledge and/or experience with clinical and management imaging applications such as Cerner RadNet, Fuji Synapse PACS, VITAL Images, Powerscribe 360, and support of various imaging modalities and Image sharing solutions.
Knowledge of clinical and business imaging operations in a healthcare environment
