WE LOVE OUR WORK.

  • Adheres to all departmental and property policies and procedures regarding guest service standards.

  • Responsible for keeping an accurate record of equipment malfunctions, supervising or fixing any malfunctions in a timely manner, and reporting such to the indiana Gaming Commission and the Director of Surveillance.

  • Performs a wide variety of diagnoses and repairs of surveillance equipment, with infrequent assistance.

  • Provides training and oversees lesser experienced technicians or trainees as needed.

  • Diagnoses and repairs mechanical and electronic surveillance equipment malfunctions with minimal guidance or assistance.

  • Replaces/repairs parts and circuit boards which have caused malfunctions.

  • Communicates with dispatchers and other technicians to efficiently manage open calls.

  • Maintains superior skill levels in mechanical and electronic functions; acts as a specialist in either mechanical or electronic areas.

  • Performs general and preventive maintenance on all surveillance equipment.

  • Responsible for the inspection, installation, and removal of all casino surveillance equipment.

  • Researches, analyzes, and makes recommendations regarding best practices and equipment.

  • Reports and offers solutions to any area of vulnerability to loss from internal or external sources.

  • Identifies, pulls, and labels various alarm, CAT 6, and fiber optic cables.

  • Responsible for troubleshooting system-related problems.

  • Works on special projects as assigned by supervisor.

  • Maintains monthly Technician Schedule and Calendar.

  • Assigns preventive maintenance to equipment schedules.

  • Must gain and keep CCTV Equipment Certifications (Digital & Analog Certifications).

  • Stays up to date up on new CCTV Equipment technology (Analog/Digital & iP Equipment).

  • Maintains professional relationship with all CCTV vendors, distributors, and manufacturers.

  • Responsible for making timelines, drawings, and equipment lists, receiving equipment prices from vendors, and planning new projects with the Director of Surveillance.

  • Provides positive communication and uses Red Carpet Training skills with every patron and co-worker.

  • Performs duties in a safe manner; reports any potential safety hazards to management staff.

  • Performs any reasonable, temporarily assigned job duties outside the position's job description, where, in the Company's judgment, those duties are necessary in the interest of efficiency, productivity, or guest service.

  • Maintains strict confidentiality in all company matters.

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.

  • Associate degree or certification in Electronics Engineering or related field and one (1) year of surveillance equipment experience required; or minimum two (2) years of progressive surveillance equipment repair experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Must have strong knowledge of surveillance equipment and installation/maintenance.

  • Must have a thorough understanding of electronics as well as mechanical and electronic processes.

  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills; must be fluent and literate in English.

  • Strong knowledge of casino games and operations preferred.

  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.

  • Must have advanced technical computer skills and be knowledgeable in computer networks, programming, and troubleshooting of systems.

  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.

  • Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with issues.

  • Highly organized and detail oriented.

  • Ability to move effectively and efficiently around work area.

  • Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and fluctuating days off.

  • Ability to tolerate second-hand smoke, noise, and bright lights.

  • Ability to work at a fast pace in often crowded/noisy environment.

  • Must meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by company policy.

  • Employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.

  • The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
