WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We seek a Lead, Strategy, Product Innovation that is a unique profile, blending "left-brain" and "right-brain" skills and interests, marrying business and strategic rigor and operations discipline with an innovator's know-no-boundaries creativity. It requires a flexible problem solver and outstanding communicator who is comfortable working cross-functionally and influencing different personalities and perspectives.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

The role will directly support Nike's Advanced Product Innovation portfolio to develop and execute long-term strategies and to drive innovation across Nike. You will be working directly with a team of innovators, designers, developers, engineers to create the future of product for Nike.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and minimum of 6 years directly relevant work experience. Note: One of the following alternatives may be accepted: PhD or Law + 3 years; Masters+ 4 years; Associate degree + 6 years; High School + 7 years.

• A global innovative approach and a passion for innovation - a risk taker that embodies the Innovation approach and can think like an entrepreneur.

• Experience in leading sophisticated strategic projects and shown success in leading a methodical process of analyzing problems, gathering information, generating options, then proposing and acting on a course of action.

• Experience in innovation and/or creative strategy, with an ability to creatively articulate strategy, insights, and stories behind product concepts.

• Prior experience in either innovation, product + concept creation, digital or consumer facing businesses, with a passion for footwear and apparel products.

• Strong presentation skills with a creative and compelling storytelling style.

• Ability to lead cross-functional teams, provide project management expertise, and to lead multiple projects at once.

• Ability to use human-centered insight to answer business questions.

• Outstanding interpersonal and relationship building skills + proven track record of pulling together diverse individuals with different goals and facilitate productive discussions.

• Bias towards action and comfortable working in ambiguous environments.

• Ability to work through macro and micro situations/complexity.

• Create white space for innovation and risk taking.

• A curious mind and future-orientation.
