General Statement of Job

The Lead Specialist, under the direct supervision of the Operations Manager and Shift Supervisor, ensures SIS standards and policies are met in overall field services, operations and functions in assigned area including post reviews, Specialist inspections, emergency response, client liaison, and special projects as assigned. Lead Specialist?s are expected to visit all posts within their assigned area and document all visits and persons contacted during their shift. All duties must be performed in accordance to client policies and procedures and all state and federal regulations. This position reports directly to the Operations Manager and Shift Supervisor.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions

  • Ensure compliance with general and specific post orders for assigned Specialist positions

  • Coordinate and oversee all security operations and programs in assigned area

  • Partner with client location representatives to ensure proper utilization and execution of security programs

  • Respond in a timely manner to emergent events, issues, staffing deficiencies, and client requests

  • Initiate preliminary investigations and write incident reports on all internal personnel issues

  • Partner with the clients security team members during event security details

  • Maintain up to date and accurate timekeeping systems and records

  • Distribute equipment to personnel as necessary and maintain diligent records of equipment


  • Complete proper personnel documentation/paperwork and processing as circumstances dictate

  • Act as the primary point of contact for any special escort needs by the client during the shift

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

  • High School diploma (or GED) required or any equivalent combination of education, specialized training, and/or experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this position

  • Must complete and maintain state Guard Certification as prescribed by presiding state law, as well as all client requested certifications; all documentation and fees are the responsibility of the employee unless otherwise noted

  • Must possess at least 2 years of experience as a Security Specialist with at least 1 year of experience as a lead or in a leadership capacity

  • Site specific training will need to be completed within the first thirty days unless otherwise stated based on client or assignment of position

  • Uniform attire and grooming standards must be maintained at all times while in uniform

  • Mature, and professional individuals that can give a high level of customer service

  • Must be able to climb stairs, sit and/or stand for long periods of time

  • Must have a high level of competency with administrative and data entry tasks

  • Must have basic computer and report writing skills

  • Must be able and willing to work with minimal supervision

  • Must be able to handle stressful situations and emergencies

ECA currently has a rewarding employment opportunity for an Experienced Early Interventionist (Infant Development Specialist / Child Development Specialist) that is passionate about working with children from birth to three years of age in the home-setting/natural environment. Please be advised that this is a developmental intervention position and not a behavioral intervention position. All clinicians must be educated, and have work experience related to the development of children from birth to three years of age. All of our positions begin as part-time and may have the opportunity to grow to full-time based on clinical success and coverage area. Our part-time opportunities have a minimum requirement of 20 treatment visits assigned per week with a productivity requirement of 15 treatment visits per week. All treatment visits are 1 hour in length. It may take upwards of 90 days from a clinician's start date to establish the initial caseload depending on experience, location, etc. We are seeking candidates with availability during Monday through Friday with flexible schedules during daytime hours. Please be advised that all clinicians are expected to cover a minimum of a 15 to 20-mile radius from the primary treatment location. All candidates must have the following: * Associates Degree, Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or Relevant Child Development Field * Must have prior experience as a developmental therapist with emphasis on birth to three population * Must have reliable transportation and ability to cover a 15 to 20-mile coverage area * Passion for empowering parents to support their children with developmental delays * Developmental Assessment Experience (Utilizing one of the following tools: DAYC-2, BAYLEY, HAWAII/HELP, etc.) * Clinical Documentation Experience (Writing Samples are required) * Experienced infant development clinician who is reliable with world-class communication skills (written and verbal communication) * Must pass background check and drug screening * Must be able to make an 18-month commitment due to continuity of care requirements * Must reside near the location of the job post and have reliable transportation (Car, etc.) * Must be able to accept 20 treatment visits assigned per week. Must have availability during the week during mornings and afternoons.
