Server support, including: management & support of the multiple Domains, Server and Workstation infrastructure and control network for the plant control systems; daily maintenance & monitoring of servers, SANs, virtual infrastructure, backups; application of security and functional patches & virus updates on all servers and workstations; manage the administration of Servers, Active Directory and various third-party applications.
Basic Process Control System (BPCS) support, including: diagnose & resolve system and network issues identified by site operators, technicians, and users; work with control systems and application vendors to provide a reliable control infrastructure for applications to run in a 24x7 real-time environment.
Cybersecurity support, including: daily health-check & security monitoring of industrial firewalls, routers, switches, serial & IP-based radio links, third-party network circuits, and domain, server & workstation infrastructure; ensuring cybersecurity policies and procedures are implemented & followed on servers, workstations, AD, printers, etc..
Network support, including identification, diagnosis, and resolution of network problems; configuration, maintenance, and backups of network component software; configuration & management of network monitoring; manage & troubleshoot problems with LAN/WAN communication equipment on private IP and IPSEC networks; performance analysis & capacity planning for network circuits & devices and specification & procurement of network circuits; maintain asset information & other network documentation.
Provide on-call support to the 24x7 control infrastructure
Operational IT SME for all Site projects. Ensure all IT and Cybersecurity requirements are met throughout the project life cycle.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related engineering discipline including a minimum 3-5 years' experience. Equivalent experience and demonstrated competency may supplant a bachelors degree.
Solid understanding of industry standard design principles and best practices for system and network reliability, performance, and security.
Self-motivated individual with a high level of initiative.
Must be able to communicate and work with diverse stakeholders, including: Enterprise IT, operations staff, engineering staff, cybersecurity staff, plant supervisors and management, third-party integrators, and vendors.
Position requires the ability to balance multiple projects/tasks simultaneously, the ability to prioritize tasks, and the ability to shift established priorities in response to changing business needs.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, sound organizational skills.
Proactively initiates, develops, and maintains effective working relationships. Ability to function effectively in a team environment, both as a team leader as well as a functional team member.
Knowledge of industry safety practices.
Willingness to occasionally travel to facility locations in southern New Jersey and Texas
Exposure or experience with in the Oil & Gas industry, especially supporting PCN/DCS/SCADA operating systems preferred.
5+ years' experience designing, deploying, managing and supporting physical and virtual Windows environments. Including Domain, AD, Servers, Workstations, thin clients.
Knowledge of cybersecurity best-practices API 1164, ISA-99, NERC-CIP, NIST 800 (ICS cybersecurity knowledge preferred).
Experience in designing, deploying, managing & supporting critical network environments. Experience with common and industrial protocols such as: TCP/IP, Ethernet/IP, Modbus, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP and RIP v2, spanning-tree, HSRP, VRRP & VSS.
Experience with supporting various Industrial Control Systems preferred.
IT, Cybersecurity and ICS related certifications are preferred. (MCSE, CCNA, Security+, GISCP, CISSP)
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
Individual will be required to wear company issued personal protective equipment. Must be able to drive a shared company vehicle, walk on uneven surfaces, climb staircases, work around loud machinery. The facility handles & processes chemicals which are hazardous in nature (i.e. flammable, combustible, toxic, carcinogenic, and other).
Occasional overnight travel may be required.
Occasional visits to other similar industrial/manufacturing settings may be required.
