The position as lead software engineer/project manager reports directly to the Director of Information Technology and is responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of custom developed software as a service, web applications for the various business divisions under POOLCORP. This position will coordinate work and priorities between existing development team and project stakeholders


  • Have thorough knowledge of the software development life cycle including requirements gathering development and testing methodologies.

  • Specific technologies required include: MVC Core, Restful Web Services, Azure DevOps, Bootstrap, React and JSON technologies

  • Knowledge of basic business and accounting practices is preferred.

  • Experience in leading an agile environment preferred.

  • Work with the IT Director and executive team to support short- and long-term release planning, and keep work backlog healthy and prepared for execution.

  • Provide clear documentation and release notes, make use of SQL databases, test, and debug applications.

  • Communicate with end users and corporate personnel to identify and solve issues.

  • Evaluate new development, technologies, and IT guidelines.

  • Other duties, as assigned.

Candidate Qualification Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related developmental technology

  • 5 years' experience in building, deploying, maintaining, and automating in a software development pipeline from source control.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills required

  • Leadership and mentoring experience required

  • Strong Project Management Skills

  • Ability to work and communicate with stakeholders and senior executives

The Quality Assurance Analyst will work with the QA Team on a per project basis to develop, execute test plans and run automation test scripts.</p><p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned as necessary):</p><ul><li><p>Testing in Windows, UNIX, and portal environments with traceability to requirements</p></li><li><p>Create, maintain, and execute test cases and scripts through coordination with QA Manager and Team, Project Managers, Developers, Stakeholders, clients and vendors</p></li><li><p>Familiar with automation practices and able to identify automation scripts</p></li><li><p>Coordinate testing with UAT including defect tracking, metrics, escalations, and coordination with client</p></li><li><p>Follow QA methodology and procedures</p></li><li><p>Work independently with minimal guidance from Manager</p></li><li><p>Accept and manage changing priorities and address issues swiftly and professionally</p></li><li><p>Act in accordance with established IAS Standard Operating Procedures</p></li><li><p>Maintain confidential information</p></li></ul><p>QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.</p><ul><li><p>Demonstrate successful hands on experience with test planning and execution</p></li><li><p>Have experience creating test documentation to include plans, cases, scripts</p></li><li><p>Have experience with defect tracking tools, reports, and metrics</p></li><li><p>Have experience in working with vendors and clients</p></li><li><p>Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, instructions and all safety rules</p></li><li><p>Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills for varying levels within the organization</p></li><li><p>Display flexibility with priorities within a dynamic work environment</p></li><li><p>Exhibit self-direction and proactive problem solving</p></li><li><p>Use tact when expressing ideas or opinions to respond to objections successfully.
