Overview The US Open Banking Platform Engineering team is looking for a Lead Software Engineer to help drive the future of our development and deployment platforms. The ideal candidate is passionate about Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs), highly motivated, technically curious, an eliquent speaker, and possesses the ability to lead large technical projects.
In this technical leadership position, you will: • Partner with SRE, Engineering and Infrastructure to automate everything, improve workflows and design and deliver solutions. • Support the technical capabilities and design of our Internal Developer Platform (IDP). • Build systems to provide a great developer experience and improve developer efficiencies. • Roll-out systems to increase our security, stability and scalability of our platform. All About You The ideal candidate for this position should: • Look at everything through the eyes of our engineers and see their needs and how to make their lives easier, more efficient while enforcing standards and security. • Have an interest in an IDP that focuses on delivering a great customer experience. • Be curious on what’s happening in the industry on internal developer platforms and CI/CD. • Go out of your way to get close to the engineering teams to find out what their needs are and how the platform team can help. • Proficient in golang, nodejs, python or java. • Have experience in terraform, Kubernetes and AWS. • Have a security-first mindset with ideas on how to make it easy to do.
