TITLE: Lead Software Engineer

LOCATION: Maryland Heights, MO

JOB SUMMARY: Create and develop enterprise web-based software applications.

Work on projects of high complexity within various development environments and on multiple programs, systems, and applications. Mentor and coach other team members to follow established best practices. Support future system enhancements.

Code and perform unit and integration testing of software to ensure proper and efficient execution and adherence to business and technical requirements. Organize and assign work, project based, for members of the Application development team. Translate technical architecture into software deliverables.

Ensure validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements. Perform application reviews through unit testing and code-reviews. Lead troubleshooting of issues related to code in current applications.

Develop software utilizing Java programming language. Develop and consume SOAP and REST based web services for integration into software applications. Utilize single function modules with well-defined interfaces and operations.

Perform front end development using REACT, JavaScript, and CSS. A hybrid (in office and remote work) arrangement is available.

EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. 4 years of experience developing software utilizing Java programming language; developing or consuming SOAP and REST based web services for integration into software applications; single function modules with well-defined interfaces and operations; performing front end development using REACT, JavaScript or CSS.
