Lead Software Engineer

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Software Engineer for Small Business ETL - is a data aggregation and servicing support platform that takes data from multiple sources, consolidates and transforms for projects like nCino and servicing Small Business LOB underwriting and risk rating platforms.

In this role, you will:

• Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact

• Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines

• Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs

• Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors

• Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, developing code, influencing and also leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives

• Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals

• Code and Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor

• Understanding next generation domain architecture to enable application migration paths to target architecture; for example, cloud readiness, application modernization and data strategy

Function as the technical representative for the product during cross-team collaborative efforts and planning

Required Qualifications, US:

• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
• 3+ years of experience working with Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) - SQL Server or Oracle or Teradata
• 3+ years Experience with Autosys Job scheduler
• 3+ years of Unix Shell Scripting experience

Desired Qualifications:

• 7+ years experience with ETL Components- Informatica Power center or equivalent ETL tool , IDMC, Database, Shell Scripting and Autosys

• Experience with Salesforce / Ncino development is a plus

• Experience with Github Cicd

• Experience with Informatica IDMC Development experience is a plus

Job Expectations:

• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

• This position offers a hybrid work schedule

Pay Range

$111,100.00 - $237,100.00
