Job Description
Build system and application architectures to achieve defined digital experiences and business needs using AEM. Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle including support/sustenance of web-based applications/properties. Work in agile, rapid development, and prototyping environments. Mentor existing/new team members with delivery processes, project-based findings, and support. Support all production issues and work with other teams/vendors to resolve the issues. Identify and document functional and technical requirements. Understand Java frameworks (Struts, Spring), and CRX and Apache Spring.
Responsible for developing and maintaining AEM templates and components.
Work with technology teams to build and maintain custom components, workflow development, and Digital Asset Management (DAM).
Build code from specifications. Write complex code, analyze code changes, and make suggestions to improve code for complexity for maintainability and scalability.
Troubleshoot and solve production support AEM issues. Participate in the implementation of AEM sites including the design and definition of AEM content-type models, Workflow, Content classifications, and Taxonomy.
Work on Internationalizing components and dialogs. Utilize the AEM internationalization framework to support multilanguage/multicurrency implementation.
Position will supervise three (3): AEM Architect, AEM Developer, and SME ADOBE Experience Manager.
Position will be headquartered in Charlotte, NC, but employee will be permitted to work from home at various unanticipated worksite locations throughout the United States.
Qualifications
Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology or a related field, plus two (2) years of post-baccalaureate experience as a Software Engineer, AEM Developer or related role.
Experience must include Java APIs, unit testing using AEM architecture, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, LESS framework and Git/Gitlab.
Position will be headquartered in Charlotte, NC, but employee will be permitted to work from home at various unanticipated worksite locations throughout the United States.
