Lead Servicenow Developer

We are seeking a talented Lead ServiceNow Developer to join our team. As a Lead ServiceNow Developer, your responsibilities will include developing, configuring and customizing the platform according to business requirements. We are seeking a Lead ServiceNow Developer who has extensive experience and an enthusiasm for delivering top-notch software solutions. The ideal candidate should possess both independent and collaborative working abilities.

Equifax has a hybrid work schedule that allows for 2 days of remote work (Monday and Friday), with 3 days onsite (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) each and every week.

This resource will be required to work from one of the following Equifax office locations: Alpharetta, GA or Midtown ATL or Saint Louis, MO or Reston, VA.

What you will do

• Leading the support and maintenance of a specific platform or application including creation of new environments, software upgrades, and tuning.

• Overseeing the creation and amendment of automation scripts and supporting documentation.

• Provide software deployment services for QA and production environments.

• Oversee the application performance monitoring and tuning.

• Manage protecting the uptime and performance of the application.

• Provide knowledge and expertise in the development and operational support and maintenance for a range of applications and tools.

• Oversee for the installation, set up and support of third party software running on internal managed environments.

• Oversee designing and setting up deployment procedures, setting up robust processes, monitoring production systems and managing configuration.

• Provide mentorship to junior team members.

• Provide management guidance to junior team members.

What experience you will need

• BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding (e.g., physics or mathematics), or equivalent job experience required.

• Advanced certification in key platform tools and/or 7-10 years of relevant experience.

What could set you apart

• Cloud Certification Strongly Preferred.

• 3-5 years of experience in ServiceNow development.

• Proficiency with ServiceNow development, such as scripting, workflows, API development, and integrations.

• Experience with software development methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall is desirable.

• Gain familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) applications.

• Proven problem-solving and analytical abilities.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively.

• Having the Certified System Administrator (CSA) for ServiceNow, is not required but is strongly encouraged.
