ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.

  • Conduct all aspects of advance repairs on all complexities of McNeilus Mixer, Refuse, and competitors' equipment.

  • Train other technicians by assisting them with troubleshooting and accurate way of searching for parts.

  • Inspect and troubleshoot different types of equipment to determine a resolution.

  • Assist technicians with Quality Control issues when necessary.

  • Lead safety and training meetings as required.

  • Continuously maintaining a safe and orderly work environment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or its equivalent.

  • Five (5) or more years of experience in the field or in a related area.

  • Excellent problem solving capabilities.

  • Advanced electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and welding or fabrication experience or certifications.

  • Verbal and written communication skills.

  • Detail oriented.

  • Valid Driver's License.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience as a Field Service Technician.

  • Experience in mentoring and training others.

  • Experience using hand tools and power tools.

  • Customer relations and sales experience or training.

  • CNG training and certification.

  • DOT knowledge, training or certification.

Crane (inside, mobile, and service truck equipped) and Rigging Certification.

As this complexity has increased, along with the services these solutions provide to assist Operators and their teams in delivering excellent Guest experiences, reliability and responsiveness in support of these systems is paramount. In response to the needed support of these critical systems, an enhanced Field Service program was created to provide faster emergency response, more proactive support, and more connections/relationships with our Operators and their teams. As a Lead Field Service Advisor, you will help direct the relationship with our managed service provider in the delivery of our field service program for a region(s) of Chick-fil-A Restaurants. In this role, you will work with the 3rd party providers to assure the support expectations of the program are met and help to ensure Operator expectations are exceeded. You will also partner with other field facing roles within the business to create alignment and visibility for in-field initiatives. This role will also partner with IT Implementation Engineers as they work with 3rd party providers to deploy IT hardware and software solutions to Operators, by utilizing the field service provider to address any outstanding issues and provide valuable insight as to the implementation's success. Oversight of the budget and future planning for the region will also be a critical component of this work. You will play a vital role in creating deeper relationships with Operators while ensuring IT systems and solutions help deliver on the promise of the brand. Responsibilities * Responsible for all field services delivered within a given region. * Work with the managed service provider (MSP) to ensure the Field Service Technicians are meeting the SLAs defined in our Field Services agreement. Partner with CFA's Regional Support Roles (including IT Consulting, Facilities Regional Managers, Operations Consultants, etc.) to provide Operators with better experiences and create more business alignment. * Work to provide proactive support to IT systems and help transition mindsets away from reactive support * Ensure delivery of services and resolution of escalated incidents to the field service program within the region * Guide the direction and future iterations of the Field Service Program * Partner with the Service Delivery Manager at the MSP to ensure outcomes for Field Service in their region. * Responsible for management of budget and services delivered, including any out of scope services required for the effective delivery of Field Services. * Manage the relationship with the Field Service Managed Service Provider (MSP) * Serve as a trusted IT support resource for the Operator and their team * Be an active member of collaboration between business areas and IT * Show awareness of business opportunities to streamline processes with automated solutions, both internally and externally Minimum Qualifications * Excellent relationship management skills * Strong ability to connect technical issues with impact to the business * Deep desire to drive to resolution * Ability to quickly acclimate to complex environments and solve challenging problems * Capability to guide a distributed network of vendor partners * Minimum 2 year managing vendor relationships * Strong interpersonal skills * Excellent written and oral communication skills * Attention to detail * Servant spirit with strong sense of stewardship Preferred Qualifications * 3-4 years customer and vendor relationship experience * Extensive project management experience Minimum Years of Experience 4 Travel Requirements 30% Required Level of Education Bachelor's Degree Major/Concentration Technical field of study Minimum GPA (4.0 Scale) 3.0 Chick-Fil-A Atlanta GA
