General Statement of Job

The Lead Specialist, under the direct supervision of the Operations Manager, ensures SIS standards and policies are met in overall field services, operations and functions in assigned area including post reviews, Specialist inspections, emergency response, client liaison, and special projects as assigned. Lead Specialist's are expected to visit all posts within their assigned area and document all visits and persons contacted during their shift. All duties must be performed in accordance to client policies and procedures and all state and federal regulations. This position reports directly to the Operations Manager.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions

  • Responsible for the proper execution of the shift's assigned duties

  • Coordinates the shift's activities

  • Ensures that all the daily security operations run smoothly and effectively by checking the Smartsheet at the beginning of shift for activity and block offs checking email periodically throughout the shift, participating in call off support, and ensuring that Key control is maintained by all Officers.

  • Ensures vehicles and office are maintained in a clean operational manner by performing random vehicle inspections, making sure equipment is passed from one shift to the next.

  • Ensures all Officers have their needed equipment, are properly groomed, and are neat in appearance to SIS standards (Appearance, Attitude, & Attendance)

  • Conducts shift briefing, ensures passdowns from previous shift occurs and sets expectations for the shift

  • Carries out patrol and other safety & security duties

  • Conducts their own and assists other Officers with investigations and report writing

  • Trains new Officers

  • Reviews reports

  • Ensures DARs are completed

  • Creating Employee Interactions when appropriate

  • Escalating Employee Interactions to the Operations Manager when appropriate

  • Reports any issues that need to be escalated the Operations Manager immediately

  • Checking equipment is operating properly

  • Keeping accurate records

  • Keeps Operations Manager apprised of shift's/employees' performance

  • Communicates with Orchard Campus to make sure all personnel are accounted for and are safe

  • Ensures all Officers get their breaks

Additional Job Functions

  • Perform other related duties as required.

  • High School diploma (or GED) required or any equivalent combination of education, specialized training, and/or experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this position

  • Must complete and maintain state Guard Certification as prescribed by presiding state law, as well as all client requested certifications; all documentation and fees are the responsibility of the employee unless otherwise noted

  • Must possess at least 2 years of experience as a Security Specialist with at least 1 year of experience as a lead or in a leadership capacity

  • Site specific training will need to be completed within the first thirty days unless otherwise stated based on client or assignment of position

  • Uniform attire and grooming standards must be maintained at all times while in uniform

  • Mature, and professional individuals that can give a high level of customer service

  • Must be able to climb stairs, sit and/or stand for long periods of time

  • Must have a high level of competency with administrative and data entry tasks

  • Must have basic computer and report writing skills

  • Must be able and willing to work with minimal supervision

  • Must be able to handle stressful situations and emergencies

Security Systems Specialist San Mateo, CA Responsibilities: * Collaborate through the entire life-cycle of technical security projects, including new construction, retrofit, and day two MACs (moves, adds, changes) * Coordinate with cross functional business partners, systems integrators, and vendors to define and manage project scope, schedule, and cost of technical security projects * Review, develop, and publish technical security design standards including floor plans, device location drawings, wiring diagrams, bill of materials (BOM), programming sheets, network diagrams, elevation drawings, power load calculations, and as-built drawings * Test, program, and commission new technical security devices and inspect installations for quality assurance * Assess physical and logical security implementations and make risk-based recommendations that consider impact of business operations, system architectures, manufacturing processes, corporate culture, and employee workflows * Collaborate with operations, production, global security, and other internal teams to identify, understand, and address their needs with technical security solutions * Maintain documentation throughout project life-cycle and prepare reports for global security leadership and other key stakeholders * Manage maintenance of installed technical devices and systems with assistance from systems integrators and the global security team * Identify opportunities to improve performance and reduce cost with physical security technology Qualifications: * At least 2 years of Ccure Administrator experience or Ccure Systems Manager Certificate AC9410 * At least 2 years' experience designing, installing, and maintaining technical security systems for corporate, manufacturing, and retail facilities * Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field (project management, information technology, security, criminal justice, etc.) * Knowledge of low voltage electrical systems, video management systems, access control systems, and other technical security systems and devices Desired qualifications: * Technical security system certifications (I.e.
