Lead Security Officer

POSITION SUMMARY Responsible for overseeing all Security activities involving team members and guests on assigned shifts. Leads the completion of duties and responsibilities as directed by the Security supervisor or manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES Assists in transporting money, chips, tokens and other assets. Controls the access to restricted areas. Responds promptly to guest and team member incidents and accidents.

Monitors guest and team member passage in and out of casino, including checking identification. Observes, identifies and appropriately addresses intoxicated guests. Assists Security Management with monitoring staffing levels and assigning tasks to staff.

Serves as team leader for emergency response drills and evacuations. Ensures the safety and security of all guest and team members. Leads department knowledge of all casino events and promotional activities.

Comply with all policies and procedures established by the state Gaming Commission, the company and departmental management. Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS Must be able to receive and maintain all required certification.

Must be able to obtain and maintain valid state gaming license. Minimum of one year supervisory experience in a customer contact industry preferred. High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT Ability to stand for long periods of time. Frequent pushing, pulling, bending and walking. Work environment may include smoke and variable temperature, lighting and noise levels.
