The Lead, Sales Order Coordinator provides sales support services to assigned showroom, is the first point of contact for order management and delivery issues within assigned market, and acts as a trainer for new Sales Order Coordinators. This position delivers customer service assistance as needed to ensure customer satisfaction.
Provides support to sales team in assigned showroom, and acts as first point of contact for internal and external customer escalation issues
Ensures timely communication with client and salesperson by completing all required calls as per the call cadence
Places calls to confirm delivery dates and order validity 48-72 hours prior to scheduled delivery of product.
Accurately enters and modifies orders, schedules deliveries, checks availability of product, and communicates with sales person as necessary.
Processes all tickets requiring prepayment through accounting prior to delivery
Prepares quotes, sales orders, and credit orders from assigned salesperson in to system and inspects orders for model and pricing accuracy.
Manages and updates open order report to ensure accuracy of need dates, which in turn affects inventory productivity.
Creates specification books for builders as requested by sales personnel by researching product specifications, product manuals, and internet information.
Initiates "pre-inspection" process and scheduling for orders requiring custom installations.
Acts as first point of contact and investigates issues and responds to phone calls regarding sales orders from customers prior to and after delivery.
Manages day to day operations of order management process in conjunction with offsite Order Manager
Takes on workload for sales order coordinators when they are out of the office
Trains, monitors, and Coaches sales Order Coordinators to ensure process is efficient and effective
Manages Sales Order Coordinators schedules, including time off requests, and time clock corrections
Performs other duties as assigned
Six months to one year related experience.
Intermediate computer skills; MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
Pro-active, problem solving thinker, able to work independently.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong knowledge of product application, building processes, and installation requirements
