Where You'll be Working

This is a floating role, the individual selected for this will have a home store (390-K Wickham Rd North, Melbourne, FL) but travel throughout the district to cover where needed. Mileage will be covered beyond the standard home store commute.

How You'll Perform the Role

  • Support the sales efforts at a Sherwin-Williams commercial paint store, servicing wholesale customers.

  • Serve as Third Key, opening and closing the store and making bank deposits as needed.

  • Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services.

  • Ensure that sales transactions are completed accurately, maintaining accurate work order files and formulas, pulling appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse, and tinting and mixing them to customer specifications.

  • Stock shelves and set up displays, clean store equipment, and load and unload trucks.

  • Assist in making deliveries if necessary.

Our Must Haves

  • 18 years of age or older

  • Legally authorized to work in country of employment without requiring sponsorship for employment visa status, now or in the future

  • Ability to distinguish the difference between colors, a skill used when color matching or tinting paint, with or without reasonable accommodation

  • Be able to operate a computer and communicate via the telephone, with or without reasonable accommodation

  • Ability to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation

  • Willingness to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation

  • Operate material handling equipment (e.g. hand truck, pallet jack, forklift, etc.) safely once trained, with or without reasonable accommodation

Extras to Help you Stand Out

  • These are not required for you to be eligible to apply.
  • Prior work experience in sales or customer service

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Customer service skills, including problem solving and handling customer complaints

  • High school diploma or comparable certification (e.g. GED)

  • Valid driver's license

  • Ability to speak more than one language: preferably Spanish

Summary Under leadership of both the Director of Quality Improvement and Performance Improvement, the Quality Improvement Coordinator is responsible for supporting the implementation of the Halifax Health Performance Improvement (PI) and Quality Programs through data analytics and project management. The Coordinator will work closely with the PI and Quality departments as well as support the efforts of established and future PI teams (e.g., CAUTI team). Job Qualifications * Bachelors degree (Masters preferred) in Engineering, Finance, Nursing, Health Management or Business * Working Knowledge regarding data analytics and use of Excel * Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Word, Outlook and PowerPoint * Project management experience preferred * Application of Lean and/ or Six Sigma tools and methodologies * Healthcare experience (project and/or internship acceptable, full-time work preferred) * Organized with strong communication skills, written and verbal * Works well independently and as a member of a team at varying levels across the organization * Working knowledge of value-based payment programs (Value-based Purchasing Program, Inpatient/Outpatient Quality Reporting Program, Hospital Acquired Conditions Reduction Program, Readmission Reduction Program) Job Duties and Responsibilities * Demonstrates effective project management skills, providing project management guidance for organizational PI and Quality initiatives. * Conducts analysis of current outcomes and processes to support PI teams and track progress of annual organizational goals; may include time studies, process observations or other information gathering activities. * Champions performance/quality improvement and DMAIC approach in developing, implementing and revising PI/QI initiatives. * Solution development with stakeholders to support improvement of care delivery and operational inefficiencies using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies and tools. * Support data governance efforts. * Assists with data mining, analysis, creating and interpreting data displays/reports to support PI/Quality projects. * Researches nationally standardized PI/Quality indicator definitions and benchmarks to help guide project goals and improvement efforts. * Assists with monitoring of data accuracy, integrity and efficacy. * Supports the evaluation and documentation of potential impact for proposed organizational changes as well as finalized results. * Leads/ supports development and communication of presentations as well as routine status reports to stakeholders, ensuring performance improvement and quality activities are competed in a timely manner, within budget, and in alignment with annual goals. * Committee/Council attendance and participation as required to promote PI/Quality initiatives * Supports PI educational/ training activities that will enhance the understanding and skills of Halifax Health Team Members * Conducts research and engages in continuing education to advance mastery of data analytics, PI skills and quality improvement initiatives at both state and national levels.
