Job Overview:

The Lead Sales Associates play a vital role in selling pool and spa products while fostering a fun atmosphere that brings excitement to local families' backyard investments. In addition to sales responsibilities, associates are also tasked with maintaining the store's appearance, stocking shelves, and assisting with inventory management. Full training is provided, making prior industry experience unnecessary.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences, providing tailored product recommendations.

  • Demonstrate product features and benefits to customers, facilitating the sales process.

  • Conduct water tests at the water test station to ensure customers receive accurate information and recommendations for water treatment.

  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the store, including stocking shelves and assisting with inventory management.

  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the store.

  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including proper grammar and spelling in written communication.

  • Continuously develop product knowledge and sales skills through ongoing training and education initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • One or more years of sales or customer service experience preferred.

  • Basic knowledge of math and percentages.

  • Reliable transportation for commuting to and from work.

  • Physical capability to stand for 7-9 hours per day and lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to move products weighing upwards of 100 pounds with the use of appropriate equipment.

  • Ability to establish rapport with customers, understand the sales process, and engage effectively.

  • Commitment to meeting and exceeding sales targets.

  • Strong customer service and communication skills.

  • Proficiency with computers.

  • Team-oriented mindset.

  • Proficient in grammar and spelling.

Pay: $24,000 / salary
