Accel Entertainment is the largest Gaming Terminal Operator in the country. We provide slot machines, redemption terminals, and amusement devices (pool tables, juke boxes, dart boards, etc.) to bars, restaurants, convenience stores, truck stops, and fraternal and veteran establishments across the country. SUMMARY
The primary responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, delivering, and picking up cassettes and cans from customer locations and ensuring smooth customer transactions. The route positions require the enforcement of rules to protect the employees and customers, as well as the safety of persons in the vehicle, and at the location of our customers.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Continue to meet the duties and responsibilities of a Route Technician
Help train new employees with VGT and RT processes
Extensive knowledge of the working components of VGTs and RTs
Effectively communicate with Route Supervisor any issues seen on route and improve route efficiencies
Lend support to other regions when staffing needs arise
Help support Route Supervisor by answering team member questions, helping with, and overseeing quality and Standard Operating Procedure compliance
Feedback to Route Technicians must be in line with department objectives
Coordinate with Route Supervisor on best practices and continuing expectations
Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 21 years of age
Valid driver's license and maintenance of satisfactory driving record
Ability to lift/push at least 65 pounds throughout the workday
Excellent ethics, integrity, and customer service
High attention to detail, professional demeanor, and ability to work independently
Ability to adapt and understand working components of machines and provide Level 1 service while on site
Minimum of 1 year with Accel Entertainment as a Route Technician
Ability to obtain and/or maintain a Terminal Handler's License from the Illinois Gaming Board
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
Frequently required to stand, sit, walk, talk, and hear
Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity; including calculating figures and amounts and use of a keyboard
Frequently required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel, or crawl
Frequently required to lift/push cargo or warehouse material up to 65 pounds
Specific vision abilities required for this job include close, distance, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust or focus
Exposure to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions
Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
