JOB SUMMARY: This Lead Residential Specialist position is responsible for the day to day activities of the Phoenix House Group Home/Supervised Apartments/Our Turning Point Ranch. It requires involvement in the rehabilitation of clients and the supervision of all staff within the facility.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES: The list of essential functions, as outlined herein, is intended to be representative of the tasks performed within this classification with or without an accommodation. Maintains on-going communication and consultation with Supervisor in relation to the day to day operations and/or crisis as they arise. Collaborates with the treatment team of Phoenix House. Works with clients to develop client needs assessments and treatment plan development and implementation. Supervises the activities of all staff including participation in hiring, training, evaluation, scheduling assignments and establishing priorities.JUDGMENT/DECISION MAKING: Utilizes established corporate policies and procedures in making decisions. Uses sound judgment in meeting the responsibilities and performing the duties of the position.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:* Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent. * Certification in psychiatric rehabilitation diagnosis, planning, and intervention is preferred. * Experience:*
  • Minimum of Three (3) years of direct service experience with persons having a severe and persistent mental illness. * Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience is beneficial. * Driving Requirements: * Must be Over the age of 21 required * Minimum of 5-years driving experience required * Possess a Valid FL Driver's license (within 30 days of hire if currently do not possess)* Possess a continuously valid US Driver's license for the past three years, from date of issue required * Safe Driving record requiredTRAINING & DEVELOPMENT: Completes all requirements according to Individual Training Plan within the first six months of hire and annually. Other training and/or professional development may be assigned due to evolution of programs.
