Lead Residential Hvac Installer

Job Description Job Description Position Summary: We're seeking a customer-focused Lead Residential HVAC Installer to join our team This position will cover installation of new or replacement HVAC systems.

This position will play a key role in customer satisfaction by accurately and timely installing systems with residential properties. This role prioritizes customer satisfaction, safety, and comfort, and this position is expected to work collaboratively with dispatch and other staff members to ensure a seamless experience for everyone. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Install new/replacement HVAC related equipment, including boilers and water heaters, according to manufacturer's specifications and company requirements. This includes preparing, testing and setting up HVAC systems. Wire both line and low voltage to heating and cooling equipment.

Respond promptly and effectively to emergency installation situations, minimizing discomfort for customers. Provide technical guidance and assists to Residential HVAC Installers and provides on-the-job training, as needed, fostering a team environment of continuous learning. Maintain all installation records and logs, including documenting activities and recommendations.

Adhere to all relevant appliance standards and Occupational Health and Safety Act regulations, prioritizing safety and compliance. Follow established service standards, work instructions, and customer requirements, delivering a superior service experience. Utilize hand and power tools to complete installations on HVAC systems.

Provide customer service by effectively addressing inquiries and resolving concerns. Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of our vehicles and equipment, promptly reporting any malfunctions or issues. Foster a collaborative work environment by sharing knowledge, assisting colleagues, and effectively communicating to achieve optimal team performance.

Complete other duties as assigned. Position Requirements: Must have and maintain throughout employment an HVAC Certification and HVAC Journeyman license.

Must have and maintain throughout employment a EPA Certification. Must have 2 years experience conducting residential HVAC installation services. Ability to read and interpret diagrams and schematics.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of advanced principles of air conditioning and heating systems and basic knowledge of boiler and water heater systems. Strong customer service skills.

Ability to work after hours, on weekends and holidays when on-call or as needed. Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with customers and colleagues. Must have and maintain throughout employment a valid driver’s license and be insurable under the agency’s insurance policy.

All candidates are required to undergo and successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check. Work Conditions & Physical Requirements: Work is performed on residential properties.

Ability to work in attics, crawl spaces, and other confined spaces. Ability to climb ladders and lift heavy objects on a regular basis. Ability to spend time driving, traveling to various customer residences throughout your workday.

Ability to perform moderate physical efforts including standing, squatting, and sitting for extended periods of time. Will be exposed to outside environments such as hot and cold temperatures, rain and humidity, snow, and other weather conditions. Hours of Work: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Monday through Friday. These times can vary depending on time of season and type of installation job being performed. About Us:
