Lead Reimbursement Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY Registers Outreach patients in the computer system and orders laboratory tests. General office duties as well as answering clerical and billing questions for clients. Knowledgeable and able to explain CPT and ICD.9 coding as needed to correctly submit record for reimbursement. Works with Business Office and sends monthly statements to clients. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS Licenses and Certifications Required None Educational Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred Experience Requirements 6 months experience in Outreach Lab required Computer experience required Special Skills or Training Requirements Office/clerical experience required, preferably billing or insurance claim processing Ability to type quickly and accurately required Medical terminology and coding knowledge helpful, but not required
