Harlem Children's Zone (HCZ) Promise Academy - a top-performing K-12 charter school within HCZ's cradle-to-career pathway of comprehensive services - seeks a Recruiter to join their Talent Acquisition team!
The Lead Recruiter will bring a passion for the mission of HCZ: to get all our scholars to and through college. The ideal candidate possesses an entrepreneurial spirit, endless creativity, diverse experience, and enthusiasm for Talent Attraction & Recruitment.
This role will be part of an existing team and report to the Managing Director, TA. The Lead Recruiter will have an assigned client group and serve as a lead with a presence across varied locations within the Zone. This is a hybrid role with three days in the office required.

Minimum Qualifications
Who you are
High level of influencing, collaborating, and advising leaders while delivering business solutions
Exposure to contract negotiations, business development, and diverse recruitment methodologies
Comfortable working in a high-volume recruiting environment
Strong interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strategic thinker with excellent time-management and follow-up skills
Ability to maintain the confidentiality of all aspects of the job
What you'll do
Responsible for sourcing candidates via multiple channels, including but not limited to cold calling, passive sourcing, job boards, social media, employee referrals, professional networks and associations, recruitment events and resume databases
Help develop and plan creative and effective attraction, recruitment, retention strategies and campaigns
Provide exceptional candidate experience through the recruitment process from inception to completion
Serve as ambassador of HCZ and build relationships with external partners to build a healthy pipeline
Work with hiring managers to define and create JDs and requisitions aligned with organizational needs.
Develop and implement targeted outreach to attract qualified candidates, including Internet sites, social networking, employee referrals, professional networks and associations, recruitment events and resume databases.
Sort, screen, and asses resumes and develop a system to engage future qualified candidates for HCZ.
Arrange interview processes and committees, including preparing committee members with position profiles and requirements, interviewing techniques, and questions
Establish and implement effective communication strategies to inform candidates and hiring managers of the recruitment process.
Manage job offers, including salary negotiations and reference checks.
Perform other duties as assigned
