Lead Quality Inspector

An industry leading manufacturer is seeking a skilled technician to join our Quality Control Team. As a Quality Associate, you will be responsible for manufacturing operations including routine product evaluation, production operations and lab work after secondary processes are completed.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Produce parts in accordance with established procedures, guidelines and quality specifications.
• Be responsible for meeting daily productions quotas.
• Identify & communicate to management manufacturing defects promptly.
• Complete all necessary paperwork to start and complete a job run.
• Perform material specification testing using calipers, and hardness and compression tester.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of quality inspection techniques and precision measuring instruments
• Use of inspection measuring/test equipment such as micrometers, calipers, microscopes, comparators and CMM.
• Prior experience in quality assurance, in a manufacturing environment (aerospace or medical preferred)
• Experience in Aerospace or Medical QA/QC is a plus.
• Visually observe changing manufacturing conditions
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed to support the goals of the organization.
