Lead QA Engineer

We at Sospes are seeking a Lead QA Engineer who is energetic, creative, detail-oriented and looking for a company with whom they can grow and make an impact on the lives of others. The ideal candidate will be experienced in software quality assurance processes; will have great communication skills; have a keen eye for detail; and be excited to be part of a team of like-minded professionals.

About the role:

You will take complete ownership of the Sospes QA process and related testing activities from its strategic vision to day-to-day implementation. You will be able to help shape the product by providing feedback and recommendations for both new and existing product features, functionality, and performance. This role, which reports directly to the VP of Technology, will become an expert and champion for Sospes’ application.

Objectives of this role:

• Own the QA process, which includes implementation, management, documentation, prioritization and tasks of the entire QA process and related testing activities.
• Develop quality metrics and KPIs to measure our software quality.
• Provide feedback and recommendations for improvements to product features, functionality, UI/UX design and performance.
• Become a product expert and support the Customer Success team to resolve any application issues or customer data issues.
• Participate in customer on-boarding implementations and verify data accuracy.
• Participate in product design planning by creating specifications and wireframe designs.
• Effectively communicate QA results and possible solutions directly with the development team.
• Create a culture of teamwork, commitment, innovation, attention to quality, and continuous improvement.
• Represent Sospes in a professional manner.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science, STEM, or relevant discipline. In lieu of degree, at least three years of relevant experience
• Two years of relevant hands-on software QA/testing experience with an emphasis on automation
• Highly organized and very detail-orientated
• Active team player, self-starter and multitasker who can quickly adjust priorities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated experience with administering and utilizing automated software testing tools
• Demonstrated experience with load testing, regression testing and unit testing
• Experience working in an agile development methodology environment
• Experience working with SQL Server and TSQL
• Knowledge of Cloud Dev Ops Environment (Azure preferred)
• C#.Net knowledge is desired

• Salary $90-125k, Depending on experience
• Hybrid working environment which includes: During onboarding and training, meeting 3 days per week. Upon completion, meeting 1 day per week. Otherwise, remote working environment
