As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a crucial role to develop and maintain systems, rules, and processes to ensure fulfillment of internal and external requirements. Ensures that projects and products are capable and will meet specified standards (Preventive). Positions requiring thorough understanding and application of approaches, theories, methodologies and application in a concrete organizational context.

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Facilitating and managing failure investigation for quality escapes, maintaining routine updates to stakeholders and communication with customer contacts.

  • Driving improvement and accountability towards achieving key quality performance indicators, goals, and metrics.

  • Advising functional managers regarding projects, processes, and procedures in the facility operation.

  • Analyzing quality data to identifying areas of focus for continual improvement.

  • Verifying contractual and regulatory requirement are fulfilled and have maximized customer satisfaction.

  • Setting up and maintain quality data is appropriate systems (QIRs, inspection plans and characteristics, skip lot rules).

  • Coordinating containment activities for non-conforming products, including stock, work in process, and planned orders.

  • Managing improvement projects as assigned

  • Developing process necessary for the business to adjust to changing market opportunities.

  • Providing input for the supply chain readiness assessment for quality related content.

  • Participating in internal audits as necessary; working on associated corrective and preventative actions when applicable.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will require:

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering or 10 years' experience in manufacturing QA
  • 3-5years' experience with Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action methodology
  • 3-5 years' experience leading cross-functional teams on problem resolution.
  • SAP experienced, preferred.
  • CMM programming and operating experience, preferred.
