As a Project Manager at Magenic, you'll lead high complexity, high visibility engagements with the appropriate level of Agile ceremonies. You'll work in an environment of transparent feedback that supports quality at the project and corporate levels. And you'll act as a liaison between business owners, IT development, product management and outside vendors to ensure total alignment on requirements and specifications.

The Requirements

  • At least 5-10 years professional Agile project management experience with certification (CSM, PMI-ACP, PSM or equivalent)

  • Great organization, collaboration, and coordination skills

  • A master at communication, giving the right amount of information at the right time at multiple levels

  • Effectively negotiate with the client within a change management and risk management process

  • Process knowledge and experience leading Agile (ScrumXP with Kanban, SAFe) software projects

  • Proficient at ALM tools such as TFS/VSTS, Jira, VersionOne and Agilecraft

  • Ability to effectively guide backlog prioritization of functional and non-functional requirements

  • Ability to effectively lead and organize the product backlog into individual sprints

  • Focus in "built in quality", working early and often with QA to deliver quality code and manage the testing workflow

  • Understanding of delivery velocity and measuring progress and end dates using visual velocity and burn-up charts

  • Lives by lean principles such as MVP, the cost of delay and systems thinking

  • Experience managing distributed teams of local, remote, and off-shore resources

  • Proven record of delivering robust, on-time solutions with high client satisfaction

  • Commitment to personal and professional development

Nice to Have

  • Experience in a consulting environment

  • Performed the duties of a Product Owner in an Agile engagement

  • Deep knowledge of XP principles (code reviews, refactoring, TDD, ATDD, BDD, pair programming, T-shape skills, coding standards, design patterns)

  • Diverse and/or advanced Agile certifications (CSP, ICP-ACC, SPC4, KCP)

  • Experience leading a requirements backlog workshop

  • Experience in the BA role in developing high quality product backlogs

  • Experience working as a QA Lead or QA Manager

VIEW JOBS 8/16/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-11-14T00:00 Job Summary This key role reports directly to Magenic's VP of Sales and works closely with our Regional Sales Directors, Marketing team, and our Professional Services Delivery Organization. You will help shape how we sell and go to market by identifying the biggest sales training and asset opportunities to improve our overall effectiveness. This is both a strategic and hands-on position setting our newest sales hires up for success, continuing the advancement of our longer-term Account Executives, and helping our pursuit teams tell a powerful Magenic story. We are seeking a Sales Enablement professional with the proven skills to define our sales competencies and capabilities, design training materials and other experiences to progress each Account Executive's industry knowledge and consultative solution selling skills as measured, ultimately, by their quota retirement abilities. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Onboarding and Training: * Take ownership of onboarding all newly-hired Account Executives. * Research and develop a progressive competency model for Account Executive development and success. * Work with Regional Sales Directors to assess newly-hired Account Executives and define individual development plans to expedite success. * Measure and test sales competency proficiency resulting in improved development plans. * Plan and coordinate reoccurring annual sales kick-off, quarterly scrimmages, and monthly national calls all structured to improve overall effectiveness of team. * Reinforce a sales "story telling" culture – encourage our organization to be story-oriented and direct the production of training and messaging to support this culture. This will include, revisiting sales assets and pitches, documenting and integrating use cases and customer stories, and experimenting with a subset of the sales team where appropriate. Sales Operations: * Develop and optimize processes, guidelines, and a roadmap for building and using our sales assets. * Refine the use of existing sales tools (Microsoft Dynamics CRM, ConnectAndSell, TechTarget, LinkedIn Sales Navigator) resources and research and recommend new. * Refine resources including Magenic's Sales Playbook, Battle Cards and Pocket Guides as service offerings evolve and are added. * Invest time with sales and consulting thought leaders to better understand the "voice of the customer" and build sales enablement deliverables to provide client industry insights. Knowledge Management: * Curate, organize and make readily available all supporting sales and proposal materials. * Support team sales pursuits by working with Marketing and Sales to provide relevant case studies, white papers and supporting proposal materials. * Collaborate with marketing and sales stakeholders to communicate marketing campaigns to sales teams. Qualifications - Education and Experience * Seeking 5+ years of combined experience in sales training, enablement, or a continuing education role from a professional service sales environment. * Additional experience in a marketing or business development role preferred. * Strong understanding of complex solution sales processes desired. * Knowledge of sales processes and best practices (Covey, Miller Heiman, etc.). * Consulting skills for the development of training and sales programs, including; conducting needs assessments; instructional design methodologies; designing and developing learning programs, design basic training modules and adjust training techniques in accordance with individual's needs. * Proven facilitation and presentation/training skills. * Quick learner who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced collaborative environment. * Self-motivated and team player required. * Exceptional communication, interpersonal, teaching, and presentation skills. * Experience within or knowledge of the technology industry desired. * Ability to manage projects independently and meet planned deadlines. Qualifications – Technical Skills * Experience with CRM (Microsoft Dynamics preferred), TechTarget, ConnectAndSell, LinkedIn Sales Navigator or other sales enablement platforms desired. * MS Office proficiency with particular focus on Excel and PowerPoint. * Willingness to learn curriculum development software.
