Programmer/Analyst responsibilities include but not limited to:
Leading and participate technical teams to design, program, test, implement, maintain and document computing applications.
Analyze, gather, evaluate and document end user requirements.
Work with System and/or Technical Architects, UX Designer and Business SME to design systems and programs to meet highly complex business needs.
Write and compile complex code and database objects. Lead/support efforts to design, develop, test and deploy complex computing code and software applications.
Conduct analysis and produce IT deliverables in support of IT plans and strategies.
Modify or upgrade applications to maintain software functionality.
Review system performance and identify and recommend improvements.
Provide leadership and work guidance to offshore development teams and less experienced personnel.
Conducts quality assurance activities such as peer reviews for offshore and onshore development teams.
Provide assistance and guidance to both onshore and offshore development teams.
Codes, tests, debugs, implements, and documents highly complex programs.
Develops complex test plans to verify logic of new or modified programs.
Prepares detailed specifications from which programs are developed and coded.
Creates appropriate documentation in work assignments such as program code, and technical documentation.

Completes applications development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities; contributing to team meetings; troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms.
Recommends system solutions by comparing advantages and disadvantages of custom development and purchase alternatives
Designs and develops user interfaces to internet/intranet applications by setting expectations and features priorities throughout development life cycle; determining design methodologies and tool sets; completing programming using languages and software products; designing and conducting tests
Understanding of content management, collaboration and social media tools and techniques
Strong analytic, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills
Excellent team players with ability to work with multiple vendors and internal departments
Outstanding customer service skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills

This position may be required to work adjust shift start and stop times to accommodate coordination and oversight activities with offshore development teams in different time zones.
