Job Description:

  • Successfully lead the development of Washoe County greenfield and existing sites as part of the Nevada Shared Radio System, as well as assist the lead program manager in executing all programmatic aspects of this statewide P25 LMR project.

  • Direct the responsibilities and activities of the implementation project team, which will include site management, systems engineering, field installation, field service, contractual and financial support functions.

  • Manage the cost, schedule, and technical performance requirements through all phases of the site development from inception to completion (e.g., design, planning, scheduling, installation, commissioning, and system acceptance).

  • Provide strategic direction and set priorities to deliver to plans/budget and resolve day-to-day project issues.

  • Perform risk/issue assessment, tracking, resolution, escalation and closeout to ensure satisfactory program performance and delivery.

  • Work with systems engineering, sales, supply management, field services, development, operations, quality, and other cross-functional teams to ensure accurate schedules, well defined statements of work, identified and quantified risk, highest quality, and costs within budget.

  • Develop innovative solutions to resolve difficult customer challenges.

  • Oversee and manage all subcontractor deliverables while working with the subcontract managers.

  • Represent L3Harris Corporation in negotiations to achieve additional scope and change orders that minimize contractual risk.

  • Manage and maintain program management tools, metrics, and related processes.

  • Instill process discipline and a culture of accountability focused on customer satisfaction, and product quality.

  • Position location is Reno, NV.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and minimum 9 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • PMP Certification

  • Knowledge of L3Harris products and services

  • Proven ability to work independently

An accelerated and intensified development position designed for experienced retail store managers from other retail companies to become familiar with Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) policies, procedures, product lines, organization, sales programs, etc. The teammate assigned to this position is recruited and selected under the program designed to develop qualified BSRO Store Manager candidates on a fast-track in 4 months or less time frame, if successful. During this period, training is designed as a function of the incumbent's background and the intended Store Management assignment and is geared towards developing the candidate's ability to lead and manage his/her own store. Job Duties: Actual assignments during this period will include: * In-Store Customer Service Positions – at various locations throughout the region to allow the incumbent exposure to providing exceptional customer service and being exposed to various store locations, store managers, existing equipment, policies, programs, etc. (60%) * Training Sessions and Travel Time with Region Staff Members (Region Manager, Finance Leader, HR Business Partner, Education Partner. (15%) * Specific Store Location Assignments where incumbent will virtually "shadow" the store manager throughout the work day and will observe/perform many of the actual store manager functions as required and available. (15%) * Structured product, policy, and sales management training and development – incumbent will be required to complete all the currently require "core", "position", and "suggested" education modules required for the store management position during the training period.
