The Lead Program Integrator (LPI) is responsible for driving program execution for new 3rd-party OEM products, install base OEM products & other OEM-related activities. The LPI develops the Program Plan & partners with the Program Manager, People Leaders, & OEM leaders (outside of GE). The LPI leads cross-functional program plans, communication of program status, & execution of program deliverables from OEM requirements, through system integration & testing, content, schedule, & budget targets.
A successful candidate will create an inclusive, positive, and empowering team environment, while leading global and cross-functional teams. A successful candidate will build relationships with 3rd-party OEMs to achieve successful cooperation and program rigor to the mutual benefit of both companies. A successful candidate will also balance multiple projects simultaneously and drive clear decisions based on business objectives.
Key Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
Ensuring that the product documentation and associated activities abide by the Quality Management System, Phased Review Discipline (a new product introduction process), and regulatory and compliance needs of the applicable markets
Working with 3rd-party OEMs, product/marketing, supply chain, service, QA, RA, research teams to deliver quality products on time, within budget and with the necessary features
Leading the cross-functional program core team, with input from the OEM, to establish an integrated plan to deliver the program per program team commitment and driving for timely program execution.
Identifying early and solving complex and ambiguous cross-functional and cross-company integration problems leading the team to deliver per program team commitment.
Working with the functional engineering leadership team to grow functional and domain expertise within the team
Manage program documentation deliverables, including parts identification and release
1.Bachelor's Degree within appropriate Engineering/Science or related discipline
2.Minimum of 4 years of experience in project leadership or driving new product introduction.
3.Experience working in cross-functional relationships with strong influential and communication skills
4.Demonstrated understanding/experience with the New Product Introduction (NPI) cycle and cross-functional interdependencies
5.Demonstrated problem solving ability and results orientation
6.Ability to lead continuous improvement activities by driving the implementation of process and product quality improvement initiatives.
7.Be aware of and comply with the GE Healthcare Quality Management System and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this role in product development
1.Master's Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Science, or related degree)
2.Attention to detail and ability work independently toward timely completion of a variety of assignments
3.Demonstrated ability to own and drive daily execution and burn down of critical tasks needed to meet the program timelines
5.Creative problem solver and solution developer when presented with conflicting requirements, business demands and technical risks/issues
6.Demonstrated skills in proactively identifying, facilitating and driving closure of a product/program
7.Experience managing 3rd-party company relationships to foster cooperation and goal alignment
8.Experience working in a Systems Engineering team
9.Knowledge of GE Healthcare tools and processes (engineering, sourcing, supply chain such as SQCS, PDM, Oracle, MyWorkshop)
10. Ability to develop unique concepts/solutions for complex products
11. Change agent with energy, passion, and enthusiasm to drive change
12. Demonstrated effective interpersonal, networking, and teamwork skills with internal (cross-functional) and external (supplier) customers
13. Diverse experience in Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sourcing, Service or other related functions.
14. Demonstrated skills, training, and/or certification in computer networking infrastructure management (routers and switches)
15. Previous experience working with regulated medical product development
