What part will you play?

Warner Bros. Technology seeks a Lead Production Specialist to project manage Blu-ray & DVD titles and workflows. This role will be part of the Content Technology & Operations division, working within the Emerging Formats & Mastering department.

  • Schedule and monitor end-to-end Blu-ray/DVD disc production management and supply chain projects, ensuring timely delivery and hitting release date milestones. Must be able to know when to escalate issues and risk factors to Manager.

  • Provide asset quality supervision for team (video and audio) by reviewing QC reports and issues in question, educating team members on new issues and guiding resolution activities.

  • Collaborate and provide insights with internal groups and external vendors to identify and resolve supply chain issues. Consistently communicate expectations downstream for smooth deliverables.

  • Participate and co-lead marketing & production meetings, providing title updates, risk assessments and other critical information that may impact on-time delivery to market. Requires professional and tactful communication skills.

  • Provide leadership within team to help train members and monitor team projects.

What do we require from you?

  • BA/BS degree (or equivalent experience).

  • Required- Experienced with project management with ability to oversee and juggle multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Required- Film mastering, digital video, home entertainment supply chain or video quality control experience. Ideal candidates should have experience in at least two areas.

  • Required- Proven ability managing vendor relationships.

  • Strong knowledge of DVD/Blu-ray authoring process, tape formats and menu design required.

  • Strong audio/video QC skills (able to spot issues and categorize by severity).

  • General understanding of film remastering/restoration highly desirable.

  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Premiere and/or Encore highly desirable.

  • Bilingual Japanese speaking a plus.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • Must be tactful with personnel at all levels; yet able to convey urgency/risk appropriately.

  • Able to work under fast deadlines with rapidly changing requirements.

  • Focused and detail oriented with an extreme attention to detail.

  • In addition to job duties, individual must be a good communicator and team player. This person must be the type to take initiative and not be afraid to ask questions. Departmental duties can change at any time so flexibility is a necessary trait. Work hours may vary contingent on release schedule.
